+1 yGotta start with attraction. If I’m not into her then her intelligence isn’t enough of a factor
020 Reply- +1 y
I am guessing your americain. Here in the uk and in france we rarely use the word attraction. Its hardly a factor in dating.
- +1 y
Born and raised in Florida. And ya when a guy or girl first sees someone new they judge within a second if that person is attractive. The brain functions quickly as it’s a primitive instinct Aka “new person , I could have sex and procreate with them”
- +1 y
What’s your assessment of intelligence? Would you say a college graduate or someone with street smarts and common sense?
- +1 y
Smart in general there iq is high even if they are not educated at college at least they have interets and high knowlege. I would say most women are attractive anyway but i am from the uk and france. I dont know what women look like in america.
- +1 y
Women and men the USA appear similar to those you will find in Europe. Probably in a general sense the US has more obesity but that kinda sets in later in life as people settle down and start families. And yes I agree that a potential partner should be intelligent with the ability to think critically and be reliable to step up and own things. Someone who isn’t just focused on one thing like sex but that has multiple interests and uses their mind to explore and learn about the world
- +1 y
I was told many times by amricains i was unatractive but i have had many relationships in uk and france so i dont know.
- +1 y
Getting feedback you are unattractive can be emotionally hurtful but it’s really too general to comprehend Why they give you that feedback. Have they said why and is it something you can improve?
- +1 y
I am attractive to the people in my countrie thats all that matters atm. I havnt done the covid jab so i am not planning on going to america any time soon.
- +1 y
You should be able to travel without the jab. But ya if you are happy living where you are then that’s great. I’ll also add that in my past relationships I’m not always thinking that she’s a sexy 10 when I first met her. I used the word attraction vs looks because over time attraction can grow between two people. So as you are attractive you should have guys interested in getting to know you
- +1 y
I personaly believe made all women perfect and most women are really beauitiful. The super sexy women most men go for are those who spend a good percentage of their pay on clothes. Surgery. Makup, hair straigners. Perfume. Nail salon. Massage. Faceials, waxing, microneedling, eybrow tinting and many many more stuff.
- +1 y
True overall women appear to take care of their looks more than guys. If both people are in shape that’s usually the best case. Stats show that girls tend to date up and guys down. As you said if she eats right and puts effort into her appearance she would be attractive to lots of guys. But that’s the start, it’s vibing that comes next
- +1 y
by the way there are men who also invest in their appearance. They pay for a gym membership, buy quality clothing and shoes, get expensive haircuts and wear cologne. So it’s not just ladies who spend up
- +1 y
The point is thats is all superficial its not true beauty. What you are dating is not a beautiful women. Its a micture of plastic, waxes, foundation, castor oil. Its not realy them.
- +1 y
You are talking about beauty on the outside vs inside and your example is how visual appearance can be artificial
- +1 y
Both they go hand in hand. A stupid person is more likely to be artficial. A beautiful person is more likely to be smart due to genetics.
- +1 y
Yes and no. It’s nature vs nurture. If a person is raised in a nurturing and supportive environment they are more likely to make wise decisions and be less in need of being fake. However someone who appears beautiful can still be toxic. How we look doesn’t define our character, it’s only a clue. If someone is unintelligent they are less likely to focus on their health day in
- +1 y
Actualy you are right in some ways. I never though of it like this. So basicaly the better your up bringing the kinder and more attractive you might be. That makes sence. But its unfair on women who are beaitiful and kind and grew up in a toxic or broken home.
- +1 y
Life isn’t fair, full stop. And yes anyone who is raised in a broken home is often at a disadvantage as they were not provided for at an early age and often were not taught love and security. Now as an adult they can choose to learn and grow but that takes work and discipline.
Kindness is a wonderful virtue but it can be freely given and like generosity the gift is the reward it self and not expected to be re-payed.
But yes as you highlighted we must as a healthy society put more focus into our relationships and families must protect and love children as they build our future. As you mentioned if their home is toxic it’s more likely they will learn to hate and that can manifest into a lifetime of pain.
Bottom line is the beauty and kindness and all the virtues must begin with love. When someone doesn’t feel love and doesn’t know how to love their only alternative is hate and that’s one reason so much pain occurs - +1 y
So bringing it back to your original question, beauty and intelligence are virtues and appreciated in a partner for marriage. But so much more goes into character when things get tough so finding someone to marry is a long and challenging process. That person is a partner for life and will be directly responsible for raising children in a healthy and loving way with me :)
