Guys, which would you choose: intelligent, bitchy girl or sweet, dumb girl?

I see these types a lot and I'm curious about which you would rather choose. let me clarify. by bitchy, I mean moody, confrontational, argumentative, tell it like it is kind of girl, a bit loud, very opinionated and likes to challenge people in arguments. she's not purposefully mean, but her words pack a punch. she can be kind of cold, and brutally honest. she's a great friend to those close to her, but she's very judgmental about the types of people she chooses to associate with.

by sweet, I mean she gets along with a lot of people, she's very nice, she's not confrontational usually and would rather keep negative opinions and hurtful words to herself, she doesn't like to argue partly because she doesn't know much about many things but also because she just wants people to get along and be happy, she's very kind hearted in the sense that she doesn't want to offend anyone, she's quieter, but bubbly and fun at the same time, she's cutesy and adorable

Honestly I don't care at all how book-smart is she, I'm reasonably book-smart but I don't seek to discuss such borderline-boring topics with a girlfriend!

Her positive attitude would make it very pleasant to be around her and it totally outweighs any real or perceived lack of intelligence.

About the bitchy girl - I mean - it's just asking for trouble! Nobody could stand being with such girl even for a one minute, and you speak about a lengthy relationship? That gotta be insane!

My personality is exactly how you described the bitchy girl...and I have lots of close, good friends. And a long term boyfriend who enjoys my personality because he knows he'll always have an interesting, in depth conversation with me. If I were to answer this for guys, I'd choose the "bitchy" one. That way I'd know It'd be an adventure to be with him and he'd always be honest. None of that beat around the bush stuff.

lol yeah I'm the same. However, I don't knock other peoples preferences. I definitely can't relate to wanting to be with someone sweet over someone with whom I can have good discussions and debates, but everyone wants something different from relationships. If you aren't looking for that in a partner, like the guy above who sees it as "too boring" for a relationship, then that's fine! I know my personality isn't going to win with most guys, though, but that's okay too. Thumbs up for you :)

I'm always told by guy friends that I need to "dumb it down". Yes guys pick the sweet and dumb every time. No challenge and easy to impress. The problems is if you are intelligent you also tend to have strong opinions and not be afraid to make them known. If you you do you get " bitch zoned". Doesn't matter if you actually are or not
