Look at social media. Women get a lot of attention even from strangers on there. When women see a guy they like they look him up on Instagram and size him up.
I don’t even have Instagram!! So I must be like invisible to people.

Trending & News [From my response to @FreyaRed 's comment]
Well, women under 30 earn more than men under 30. Women do better in school. Women earn more degrees while outnumbering men in college/higher education. I mention this because often, many women seem to want a man with equal or better status and skills than her. But that's not it, women are also constantly seen on media casually complaining about how scary/toxic men are, while also complaining that men are weaker and aren't as masculine anymore, to say that men are therefore less attractive. (It is a fact though, that men are producing less testoserone today than in past decades). And I think that's at the root of the question, that while the sexual culture is different, is it harder to get a woman to be attracted enough to stay by your side as a partner? To that I think that maybe access to female attention might be easier, but unfortunately it's more difficult to get a girlfriend. Without a common language to express it, there is a confusion young men face today about something so fundamental as what their sex even means. Yet, they are simultaneously being expected to be the ambitious, purposful and privileged leaders and protectors of the world and their communities. So I think that the latter condition is at the root of the question, beyond the fact that young women have become more successful than young men by the standards of education and money. So, all that said, I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's easy or easier than before for a young man to get a genuine girlfriend today.
Much harder, girls tend to want to date up and date established men who earn more then them. They also now have the technology and by extent the social circle to obtain these men. Which means many of the good women in our 20's will be captured by established men who normally would not have been in her social circle. But while this advise does absolutely not applies to a women and she should find a partner before her 30's to have the biggest chance this does not apply to men. Of course keep trying, but unlike the women our priority should be to get established, so that when you are at your late 20's you are at your most attractive to these (younger) women who would eagerly date you. Because all these guys that are currently left out in their 20's? They will get their turn once they got their lives to the state you can easily attract a girl with. Because as much as girls fall for personality, if she has a house to move in with and a house to have sex with you in after a date, you will stand out over her other date that brought her home to her parents after dinner because they had no good place to be alone.
It's not hard to get anybody for a girlfriend. These guys that are complaining are asking strangers who don't know them. And the ones that do know them probably don't share anything in common for a serious relationship. Befriend and woman and get to know them!
Please don't use that social media garbage. It's not about attention. Those men just want sex. And that's why they cannot get anybody to want them. If all you men do is pout and whine, that's why you do need to stay single.
"When women see a guy they like they look him up on Instagram and size him up." Who cares! They are not the type of women you want to date anyway. And they have every right to judge, we do not KNOW YOU.
"I don’t even have Instagram!!" Buddy, who cares if you do or don't. It's a toxic environment if you look and engage in the wrong places. "So I must be like invisible to people." If that is the case, it's only because you don't put yourself out there for anybody to notice you and get to know you. That is no one else's fault. Self-pity is not attractive. Find a purpose in life and stop worrying about what other people are doing before you make yourself sick. It's not easy for women either in that sense.
@Eagle_93 You mean to tell me all your live you've not one introduce yourself to anybody? Not even a job? That's how you communicate with somebody. We're aliens or speaking Swahili unless we're Swahili.
"Hi, I'm so and so, nice to meet you?" Smile and present your hand to shake and establish communication. Not hard. *shakes head*
@btbc92. Lol, I was asking that question in response to what you stated earlier about guys that complain about it being hard to get a girlfriend, are asking complete strangers who they don't know, then in response to that, I asked, well how do you get to know a complete stranger without asking them (that's what I meant by the question).
@Eagle_93 Just talk to us. That's all. And if she desires to get to know you more, she would give you her information and you two meet other friends too. Or meet up in places you both go to frequently. That is the answer for these guys who sadly act like they don't have any friends.
@btbc92 I completely agree with you, and no, I actually don't really find it too hard to talk to girls.
In fact I love meeting new people and having good conversations.
I've become confident in myself as I've matured to the point where I realize, (as funny as this may sound lol) that women are just humans too and we are all looking for love and validation.
Thanks for your thoughts by the way :)
Just like I studied Japanese and went to a language class at the public library. I joined that class and made some friends. We meet up every Sunday, and the second time I meet them, we all exchanged numbers and hanged out in a group over Japanese food. We all even split payments for the bill! When I was 20/21, I was invited to a cookout for my long-time friend's church and met MORE friends! Plenty of Christian Guys and girls alike. Everybody accepted me, liked me and I, in turn, the same. We fellowshipped. Prayed, play games, talk, etc. That's how you mingle and get to know people. Not walk up to any girl or guy and ask for their number or out on a date. Build rapport. Because these are people you want to cherish for a very long time. Now I know these people to some agree enough was if I or they would have wanted to give that type of relationship a chance, we have a better idea of what we wanted and know compatibility right away. And this is since I was 19 years old. In fact two of my friends were engaged. One is already married to their best friend and is now about to be parents with a first child along the way. BOTH of them were virgins when married and are happy with each other and are starting a family. THAT's how you do it. They didn't play those games. They both knew what they wanted and were friends for years. What is so hard? That's what I ask these people. WHAT is so HARD? Probably letting go of their selfishness, is what.
@btbc92 I think your advice is actually great and very sound. However, while I will say that Western society is increasingly narcissist friendly, the problem as to why some guys don't seem to "get it" is deeper than selfishness in my opinion. I think it's difficult to feel encourged or motivated when something as fundamental to your identity as what your very sex means, let alone how to be "masculine", now has no societal concensus and is thus a mystery to you. Hence, there seems to be so many guys now who lack confidence; because the starting point of understanding his own identity is the deep confusion that surrounds masculinity. And since most people don't have the language or know the discourse for this problem, it can certainly be isolating and a stumbling stone. And that's a vicious cycle.
Yes there is a lot more to it. However these same people, not just guys doesn't want go work on those areas first. Theu rush into things not knowing what is good for then no different than a have girl who dates anybody who pays attention to her. Theu do need a solid foundation. But they often don't learn this until it's far too late. And they often still ignore sound advice. We can't always help these people. We can only pray they listened and changed.
@btbc92 I can certainly agree with that. Happy Holidays to you
It's probably always going to appear a little easier for a woman to get a date then a man. Mostly because you're the ones doing (and expected to do) most of the work. Men chase, and women choose. That's how it's been for a really really long time now. And if a man gets to choose, well he usually doesn't (playboys I'm looking at you).
So I understand it's really unfair, but I don't see it changing any time soon. Lucky for you we do live in a modern world and some women are willing to chase etc.
Little easier? Hate to have to do this but I gotta call you out on this. If you are the person in your avatar I can picture you having a super easy time getting a boyfriend. Keep in mind it can take years just for some guys to get a girlfriend.
@Jennifer_32 Yes, you're right, I'm one of the lucky ones. I wasn't denying the fact that it's harder for a man than it is for girl. I'm fully aware of that. I was also not using myself as an example. I mean on average.
@Jennifer_32 she’s pretty average/normal looking in my opinion. I think men have it easier, most men seem to just be looking for something quick whereas more women want a relationship. Men get less ‘attention,’ while women have attention/crap from guys they’re not even interested in. Also men are often considered more dateable on their intellect as opposed to how hot they are. With men, I see men still prioritising having a beautiful woman
It’s easy to say that the other gender has it better, but it’s not true. If anything there’s so many more things a man can do to improve himself. To look more handsome, to improve his mentality, become much more successful/rich. the grass ain’t greener on the other side
@Paniero Ha! I'm going to pretend I'm not slightly offended my that... beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.
What you said is definitely true, there are more things that a man can have going for him if he wants to improve himself. As you career and money will definitely help you to date the kind of girl you want. for some reason... I still think in the dating game I'd rather be a female... but that's just my opinion.
@Paniero, I disagree that it's more about intellect; that's close, but to be specific, it's rather about a man's resourcefulness. Women look at the business mogul as a better mating prospect than the philosopher.
And now that we get to focus more on compatibility than survival when it comes to our mate selection, you mathematically have more luck with finding someone compatible if you have more options. Women have more options. And with women being higher in neuroticism, they do tend to be picky and fickle towards commitment.
I think on avg you might be right but the men that are great with women have for more success in getting the women that want then women do in getting the men that they want. This is a opinion based question so I'm not saying what you said is wrong but you talk as if your much older than 17. I have no clue what dating was like in the 80s or 90s or 70s. So I can't say it's been like this for a long time nor do I think a 17 year old can understand what trying to get dates and or a gf/bf is like outside of school until you've been out for a number of years.
@EABsTUQ Yeah, I accept that I'm pretty young and don't really have accurate judgement. But from my 3 years knowledge, this is my opinion.

With easy access to the internet it should be way easier with all the access they have. Imagine living in the 1950's.
I choose today!
This is such an extremely loaded question that it almost hard to give a fair and honest answer to it.
The response is going to vary depending on the person answering it.
If the person answering it is co-dependent and has self esteem issues then they may say that all members of the opposite sex are manipulators and toxic people who take advantage of them.
However if the person answering is a 'player', they may answer that it is even easier then it used to be.
Now, with that in mind, I think the core concept of the question should be 'who's asking?'
Has the person who is asking this question ever had a meaningful loving relationship? Where they ever married? Are they old or young? If you are in your 50's and have been married twice, you may be just repeating a cycle and on your way to divorce number 3...
For me personally, I think 'dating is much easier now'. I was married, I am divorced and my ex and I get along great and I introduce anyone I am serious with to her. Why? Because we have kids together and I want her to know who I interact with so she knows who I bring around our kids.
Now I have used online dating since I divorced her and I have gone on a lot of dates... I have since set a 'minimum' age for woman I will date because unfortunately, thus far, anyone in their early to mid 20's have not had enough in common with me to lead me to ask for a second date.
Some interactions have been purely physical, but I have always made it clear I was looking for a long term relationship... I also would not keep secrets and I am open minded.
So for ME, not dating how is extremely easy, hiwever, finding someone that I Have clicked with for a second or third or fourth date is still about the same as when I was young.
Now I don't 'need' to have a girlfriend to feel complete in my life.
A girlfriend is simply a person who I would like to share my life with and have a proverbial partner in crime with.
I am fine with one and without one, but I have never needed one. I feel like with technology these days, that some people should not be persuing a relationship and instead should be focusing on finding themselves first before they go out and try to bring someone else into their complicated life. However, it's easy to pick up your phone and download tinder and then complain when your pictures of you being out drinking and blazing weed on your profile attracts the wrong type of person to 'like' you...
The World is now at our finger tips and all it does is allow more people to pass on you then you would have experienced back in the day.
I can swipe right on 50 woman today and 5 may swipe right on me as well... well when I was younger I didn't interact with 50 single woman a day at a 'speed dating' get together each night.
Technology just makes people more readily available these days which means your 1% success rate 20 years ago meant if you met 100 woman 1 may go out with you, now you can cross 1000 womans phone screen every day...
It is, but in part that's a good thing. Historically women have been leaving behind a narrative of being a possession. Now that they are being taught that they have a choice of whom they can choose as their boyfriend they're being more selective.
Before.. They could easily be manipulated, betrothed, or forced into marriage. If you need anymore proof, just look at third world countries today. In America though, they're coming into a culture where they get to choose and that's a good thing. To be honest do most guys seem appealing to you?
Hardly. Men put no effort into being appealing or even likable.. Our standards for male attractiveness are rock bottom. Not in personality, or hygiene or grooming. This is changing, and I guarantee you that women getting a choice in who they sleep with has no small part in this equation.
As for women in general being sought after.. Yes, historically we bred and trained women to prioritize their aesthetic and placed literal commercial value on it in dowrys. This is not instagram, this is hundreds of years of training. And now that our society has placed more value/control to better looking people.. Women have gained power in a way they and we haven't even begun to imagine.
Consider this: How can it be easier for a woman if for a straight woman to get in a relationship, it requires her to be with a guy? For every straight woman in a relationship, there is at least one guy in a relationship.
So is it that getting in to a relationship is harder or are you just having more trouble? The wall isn't any higher or lower for you than others, you just aren't jumping high enough. I don't say that to be mean or discouraging, I just mean to say that of all the things in this world that are out of your control, this isn't one of them. You can find someone to love and be loved by in return. I have no doubt about that. At the same time, I don't believe in "be yourself and other people will just accept you." Be the best version of yourself and strive to be better every day. That's how you get people to accept you.
Exactly lol. Men don’t realize that for every straight woman in a relationship, one straight man is also in a relationship. If a straight woman is having sex, at least one man is also having sex with that woman. Statistically speaking, the chances aren’t higher or lower for a man or woman to get a partner.
Nowadays, unlike 10 years ago, it is hard to approach a girl even at my age without her thinking that I am flirting or want to have sex. Which is fucked up and also the main reason why a lot of guys don't approach girls anymore. It's easy for the girl to shout rape and you're done for. Many girls just take it the worst way possible, and it is annoying... First thing comes up to their mind "oh God this guy is approaching me, he probably gonna flirt or some shit" instead of thinking that MAYBE the guy just wants to have a normal conversation instead. Which is the most naive shit I've seen in my life and a wrong way to think of yourself and the other guys.
I kind of wonder what these guys who fear approaching women think about that must prompt girls to falsely cry rape or harassment. Do they think of it as causal friends-like or romantic/flirty right off the bat?
Depends on how you're trying to meet people. If you just try to date people you know irl or ask people out then it's gonna be the same. However if you use dating apps and stuff then you better be at least decently good looking. I know plenty of dudes who are average and still get dates, one of my friends just got married. They all just asked people out on dates in person.
If you're extroverted, just go to parties, clubs, large social events at meet people. If you're introverted see if you like anyone in your friend group or meet people through work/class or by doing things you like, for example if you like hiking, go on group hikes and talk to people. This can be applied to most hobbies. Go to an event or club for said hobby and meet people. Stuff takes effort, it has always taken effort.
Its not. If you're stuck inside playing games then of course you wouln't get a chance to talk to girls. Social media also means men don't have communication skills needed to talk to girls.
Its not hard at all. Just go out and do your thing. See a girl you like just talk to her. You can get a chance anywhere coffee shops, train station, supermarket etc. Work on yourself first, get a decent hair cut, clothes. Have hobbies, interests. Just don't stay cooped up inside all day.
You can't find a girlfriend if you don't come in contact with someone who might love to be your girlfriend. Being pessimistic or making excuses is not going to make a difference at all. You can either sulk or take action. One gets you a girlfriend.
It is easy for girls to date because guys will date down for sex. However, it is not as easy for girls to marry since guys that date down for sex, will fuck them but not marry them.
For both men and women, it is as easy or difficult as it has always been. If you are willing to marry someone below your league, then finding someone to marry is easy. Most people want to marry someone out of their league and that is almost impossible. Marrying someone within your league requires time and effort, but otherwise is not overly difficult.
You got it all wrong, dude. Obviously you do have a certain presence in social media (or you wouldn't be here or know how easy it is for women there, right?). That means you have a lot more opportunities to meet new women or communicate with women you already know. It's much easier communicating your interest in writing than it is face to face (at least for me and for most people I know).
Now, ofc it's easier for women, it always has been, years before there even was an Internet. And yes, women on social media need only publish slutty pictures and a while herd of desperate creeps will shower them with the attention they so crave. But that shouldn't interest you, as you don't really want such a pathetic slutty attention whore for a girlfriend...
Use the modern tools and opportunities. Don't wait for women to look you up online, take the initiative. Be real, be yourself, all the banal advice :) You'll find a worthy one. Good luck!
How about you just try? It is not as if it is such an impossible task.
And having a girlfriend isn't such a huge accomplishment either. Ya know..
Would you rather have a bad girlfriend or be a happily single man?
And anyways it's always been like this. Times change but our behaviour doesn't. There was a time when the slight show of the skin of a girl's ankle would give her the wrong attention..
If you only rely on social media and texting and don't meet women, it is harder. If you do your work in person, for the most part, it might work out well. But there does seem to be the fantasy that there is an endless supple of men or women due to date sites. I think it takes works to find out if a person is even worth meeting. And you probably have to email/text a load of folks to even get to the meeting stage. It requires an investment of time. A lot of balls up in the air.
Girls get it so easy? Girls don't want every guy that comes to them wanting their attention and companionship. Girls attract mostly creeps, because there are too many creepy men inhabiting our planet... and unless you're one of those impossibly stunning and perfect girls online then guys typically don't hassle you as much. Guys IRL aren't nearly as straight forward as they are online.
What kind of guy do you look for
@BitterSweetApplePie
100% correct, couldn’t have said it better myself.
Look at it this way: don't actively look for a girlfriend what needs to happen will happen. I know this sounds very cliche but if you live your life for yourself and do what you like your chances will increase drastically if you actively look for a relationship your credibility will drop and you'll look desperate which definitely won't make women look your way, at least from what I've seen around me.
It’s cause guys are so desperate and creepy motif guys quit being desperate and quit putting women on pedestals women would actually want guys but guys put women so high on a pedestal women don’t even want majority of men guys need to avoid women for a while and starve them of attention. Can you do that? Can guys not be desperate for a while?
It's easier, but you have to work to present yourself well. Girls aren't going to come to your door and offer themselves to you. But if you're in great shape, which is controllable, and relatively good-looking, it's not hard. I can put up a dating profile and have a girlfriend within a week.
I don't turn to Instagram for dates. I use it for brand networking. It's not that I can't get one. It's that I can't find good ones and also protect them. I either find a bad one (and by bad, I mean batshit crazy) and need to cut her loose for my own safety, or I find a good one that dies or something else bad happens to her. Drugs, cancer, genetic diseases, or just politics leading to bad luck. It's almost not worth it to even look.
It's actually easier..
It's just that you don't know what you want..
You don't leave bread crumbs behind for them to follow..
Do few things right and you will. Get Invitations from women..
Laying on lingeries..
Helplessly
Waiting to be ravaged by you.. Don't be an asshole just pick one and stay loyal even if you get invite from 100 other girls..
Because with great power comes great responsibility..
It's easy but you can't do much with her when you have her. She'll be some Marxist flea bag with a history of "hook ups" or "friends with benefits" or any number of degrading filth that persists in our culture at this time. Expect her skin to be scarred up with gross tattoos as well and then there's the long list of puke inducing diseases she'll have almost guaranteed at least herpes.
It's ridiculously hard. For someone my age, social media isn't my whole world. I remember a time before the internet and remember when it was new. Personally I feel social media has replaced most actual meetings and it doesn't give a true sense of who that person is.
At the same time, it’s hard for us women to find men who don’t feel sorry for themselves.
I think you mean well. But a natural response to this comment is like as follows. That, maybe it's hard for many women to find men because those women are too insensitive, hedonistic or selfish to appreciate and focus on the lovable qualities of these men, for men to bring those qualities out more.
Even though men have direct access to dopamine and don't rely on serotonin like women do, recieving love still does heal men; humans are social creatures. E. g., the loneliness epidemic has proven deadlier than the obesity epidemic. And men both mature and young are today committing suicide at historical, record numbers. But ya know, poor women, again.
Compassion goes a long way, and that doesn't mean you have to mother an adult like so many women feel they have no choice but to assume. You can love and show compassion in adult ways. Empathy, communication and deep understanding are not exclusive to parenting. Another thing about postmodern male experiences is that, growing up it seems all his life that women want and pursue progress. But later it seems that's not quite the case; it seems that women are just after their interests. And depending on where he is in his life at that point, that can be a disappointing realization.
(Each woman is an individual, but I'm just using the postmodern, collectivist language that probably most young adults have been raised with.)
Oh, not "be"- [feel like] a disappointing realization**
No dude I’m serious. I’ve been through hell in my life. Things that most people couldn’t imagine. I was afraid of being around males for a long time. I don’t have time to feel sorry for someone because they aren’t getting attention. It is NOT my job to fix anyone and I will not date someone who is needs a pity party. If you need that, go get counseling. I am not selfish. I have compassion for people who don’t have food, running water, and electricity. I’ll spend my compassion on those people. And dude, I’d guys feel this way about women, why don’t they go seek out counseling. There is nothing wrong with it and many people do it. I got counseling for years when I was at rock bottom.
I hope you're doing better. And I do believe that what you experience is to be respected.
Counselors seldom use male friendly methods, and probably unwittingly so. But I will say that CBT works, and men should apply CBT in their lives.
The theory today is essentially that humans have evolved to solve each others problems, per se. I mean think about it, we're not the most physically dominant and terrifying animals; a naked human looks like rodent compared to a naked lion. To overcome the lion, we banned together and cooperated.
But no one can necissarily fix you, not even really you. You can assist your body in fixing itself. We can also assist each other in such a lifelong endeavor or assisting self. That's all a counselor does anyway.
Our culture is increasingly atomized and individualistic, hence why we live in a full on service economy yet think we live "independantly". No we may not be employed to authentically try to understand the experiences of the opposite sex, our own sex, other people, our partners, and self. But I think we'd nonetheless be better people for it.
such a lifelong endeavor [of]**
@R_Cakes91
I'm a little shocked by the down-votes.
I'm in therapy (counseling) for this. I think it stems from a man's relationship with his parents. For me, I had no male role models in my family. When I felt down, my mom would comfort me. I love my mom, but I really think she fostered this behavior instead of teaching me to "man up". I don't blame her for this, it's just what happened. I agree that men need to stop placing this responsibility on a woman, because what they're really trying to do is replace their mother who comforted them too much. That being said, I appreciate a relationship with an open dialogue. I want to be able to discuss my insecurities, and I really appreciate a partner who can tell me to my face that I'm acting weak.
Well, I do apologize if my opinions sounded offensive, I meant no offense, I just figure that this is an ok space for dialogue and opinion. I don't know if something like "Giys come here to take their loneliness out on women" is supposed to apply to people like myself. Because I don't blame others unless the actions they took had significant impact on me, and that the person had either a responsibility to fulfill, or was conscious of the fact that it would affect me profoundly. But people have the right to be ignorant.
What I'll say however to anyone and everyone here is this. If you choose to remain ignorant, just know that ignorance is a weak excuse for your behaviour and how you treat others. While I acknowledge my biases, if you can't recieve neutral facts, you should question your own thinking and consider the level of irrationality you operate on. And we all have some irrationality to deal with. Have a good holiday
@Lightning8 that phrase is reserved only for a select few. Since I’m one of the few women on this site, I run into some pretty awful guys on here who like to blame me for their misery.
@R_Cakes91 Oh ok, I am sorry to hear about that. Some people do lash out in malice and I agree that's not ok.
Happy Holidays to you
The dating scene today is a game. A numbers game.
Social media completely changed everything, people can get instant validation from seeing home many swipes they get today. The effect on the mind is crazy bad.
Eh, its so so. Just gotta be at the right place. Social media stay away from. Go out, bound to see someone. Matter of fact. I have better luck chatting in the real world than online. Online, I tend to get a bit, well rowdy and not in the good way.
Not every girl has Instagram. Go out and talk to girls.
It's hard to find a good woman who will stick by your side and be real. Women these days think they know everything and have been so damaged hh other men they don't trust anything or anyone. It's sad
Please enlighten me. How is it so much easier for a woman to get a guy.
If you think it’s easy for women due to instagram, why don’t you have Instagram?
Here the women get the privilege of choosing who they want to walk all over and who they are willing to let walk all over them. If you are a gentleman forget about being anything more than just friends with her
it is hard for girls to get a descent man for most men just want a woman to be mean to , abuse , have sex with her and then dump her and move on to the males next woman prey ! thanks
Walk to Walmart, talk to the Burgerking guy, see that guy in the bank with his kids? There are TONS of good men everywhere. The few good men thing is a myth. And I'm dead serious, Dawn I want to you to do something today. Just walk outside and randomly chat with a guy. You'll see most dudes are pretty level head.
Not to be that guy, but the men who are abusive and stuck on themselves aren't the ones who have problems getting women. "Good men" usually aren't "good people". Bad men jump from relationship to relationship, whereas good men, even attractive good men, tend to struggle.

Harder but not that hard I mean I reject girls every once in a while so if I really was that desperate cause it’s so hard I would have settled for one of them
I read many books on this. The best way to find sexual partners is to be black, poor, live in the country, and drop out of highschool (probably some correlation, not all causation).
I think it’s harder because we have less social interaction.
LOL so those books you read suggested that is what it takes?
Go out meet people regardless and talk... no point worrying about onlinr dating successes or failures...
Funny how a girl here would give her opinion that it's not, and get 5 downvotes by guys; but a guy can totally assume and stereotype a girl with vulgar language and won't get any criticisms at all.
Because guys can dish it but can't take. It
I don't have an Instagram and I do get attention but it's just it is unwanted attention. I would say it's difficult to get a boyfriend because it's tough to get someone you're compatible with.
It's easy, there aren't more men than women therefore I guess it's your personal bad luck.
For likes on IG you can't really get a thing.
My vote is yes; cuz', most people live on the internet now. Communication that way has the added challenges of me trying to figure out a person's intentions. Can't even start getting to know each other until trust is established on some level.
I said the same but it really depends on yourself, the girl you ask out and the methods. I think the girl is the biggest factor because they have the power to point the thumb up or down like a Roman emperor.
Best bet is stop trying to get a girlfriend and just sleep with them instead and go home..
They get a lot of attention, but it doesn't matter if it's not from the one they like. Lol
I know right? Why does every man bring up this point, yet fail to realize that it doesn’t matter if all of the attention a specific woman gets are from men she doesn’t like, finds creepy, etc.
I think it's that they, for the most part, look at what they percieve to be their humble position in the dating/mating sphere, and they learn to appreciate women in the many forms they have. Then they look at the multitude of willing potential mates or "options" many women have, and figure the these women are being unfair in what they percieve as being less accepting of guys in the many forms they have. So I think they look at it as a privilege that has become so normalized that the privileged don't appreciate what they have, and that's why the privileged feel unhappy. It's like someone in the third world observing the unhappiness of a first world middleclass citizen, or likewise with a working class person and a multi millionare or billionare+.
Well then get out and do something instead of feeling sorry for yourself
It's easier to date someone more than ever but is harder to sustain a long-lasting relationship, more than ever.
Dating apps make it easier for a small portion of guys, but on average, yes.
We can also see this in the percentage of single people going up. I think fairly recently we hit a point where most people in society are single and that was notable.
It is easier, you have the real world and the internet. So many options.
It's the same with it being harder to make a relationship work
Women have always been shallow... they reject dozens of men a month but maintain the lie that they can never find a guy
This is so true! "Where have all the good men gone!"
You rejected them all during your prime!
It’s actually easier for guys nowadays because from what I’ve noticed, many guys don’t even want a girlfriend, where more girls want a boyfriend.
Well you're only noticing a certain kind of man. And when you expect a man to be a certain kind of way, your expectations create a standard. When a man defies expectations, you might think, "oh he's different," but with the way human psychology works, you're much more likely to think, "oh he's lying." So the guys who don't conform to that expectation come across as disingenuous, i. e. "creeps".
Much easier for me. I met my wife online. We never would have met otherwise.
It's easy if you understand women, or rather have not been indoctrinated by Disney, society, or the lies told by friends and parents.
Most women are just hypocrites now. They hate men, but at the same time would love to have their attention and being chased by men. It's childish and immature. Make up your mind and don't waste our time.
If anything it’s much easier to get laid. A good girlfriend is hard to come by.
Its harder for me to get a boyfriend a GENUINE ONE. Not a man who just settles for what he can get
What all of men,?
@BrownBratzDoll I think @Mezius was saying that it's hard for all of us to find someone genuine. At least I HOPE that's what he meant.
Because if he meant all guys are just looking for what they can get, then, he's definitely not speaking for all of us guys.
Yo BBD, you gotta give us more details. Like what does your special hot guy need to have.
Height
Weight
Body type
Job
Car
Fashion
Personality
His hobbies
@Jennifer_32 i really car more about how he treats me and spends loads of money on me and keeps me laughing more than anything else.
2nd most. Important is height and dick size
3rd is style and looks
@Jennifer_32 hobbies, he has to be artsy like me or enjoy movies, fancy dinners and love music, concerts, and taking me shopping
It's harder a little bit, but we should keep trying and don't treat the the girls so nice. And follow some hacks to get attention!
Pretty much impossible. If you don't have social media (like me), you don't exist for women.
well... there are a lot more girls looking to just fuck around and less looking to settle down, so yeah I think so
It is! Hard enough generating something on here and nobody takes you serious. Even when you're genuine about it.
Why because I have a girlfriend. If I didn't, girls wouldn't give me the time of day, if I asked for the time of day.
Boh, I couldn't get one before, can't get one now, I don't see much difference.
Depends on what your political views are or if your negative
Ever since I stopped looking like Brad Pitt, it's been slowing down.
Some people do argue that dating apps and social media have made it become more difficult
