Is it ok to double text him?

I met a guy last weekend-he was a friend of a guy my roommate brought home. I messaged him on Sunday asking if he wanted to get our dogs together. He was definitely into it. We talked for a bit about school and the last message I sent (which he didn't respond to) was to message me when he got back from his trip and to travel safe. He told me he was supposed to get back tonight. Is it ok if I message him again with my phone number?

I don't double text anyone unless I'm dating them or they are family. He could be held up with something or just really tired from his trip. If I was you, I wouldn't double text him i would wait an hour or two before I text him again

I wouldn't feel she was being clingy/needy if she text a followup text. I mean I have been guilty of thinking I pressed send only to find my response still in the message box... so, go for it. Blowing my phone up on the other hand would be different.
