Age of consent as to do again with somebody who is of the age of consent what is below the age of 18. It has nothing to do with varying by state by state. If a 15 year old is able to consent to have sex. That 15 year old is allowed to have sex with somebody who is also 15 but no older than 18. And 18 year old is still considered a legal adult therefore it is still not appropriate. If the age of consent is 16 years old then the person cannot have sex with somebody who is below the age of 16 but not somebody over the age of 18. But who is also 16 and at least 17. The cut off is still 18. It is still the law. And therefore it is rape.

So unless you've been living under a rock, everybody who has went to a national and regionally accredited high school has been taught sex education and the laws of sexual consent. Similar laws also apply for higher education with Title IV protections. I should know. I'm in college now, and have took the course about Title IV about a month to honor sexual assault awareness and the rules about sexual relationships between students to student and their professors. So, what are you talking about? All it takes for somebody to find out and report it.
