Why don’t Black women date men outside their race?

It seems like Black women would rather date Black men only, instead of men outside her race. Any reason why?

They do, in fact I am willing to say every "Black" woman in this either has or is willing to date outside of their culture.

Race does not exist. Just because you see a man from Togo with an African American woman does not mean they have anything in common culturally. My niece married a man from Togo and they still had to cross barriers of language, culture, tradition, etc.

But so many GaGers don't get out of the house enough.

Cause I’m sick and tired of everyone disrespecting my race. Black people in the US pretty much always get the shit end of the stick. I’ve heard so many people of other races call black women ugly, and aggressive, and types of things. There are even clown ass black men that go around disrespecting women. It’s just easier to stick to my own people. I don’t have to explain specific cultural concepts, I don’t have to worry about being someone’s fetish, I don’t have to worry about dealing with racist family members.

I just feel inclined to.

1) it’s very rare that I’m attracted to non black men. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, there are a few non black male celebrities that I find attractive but I’m just saying it doesn’t happen often.
2) I'm not tryina navigate racial politics all the time.

I'd rather date outside my race. All the black women I know are dating white men weirdly enough. I just came back from their wedding (before corona) and the next one i'm going to is in January 2021.

I think that black women are very open to interracial dating, but you can't comment that "ohhh black women don't date outside their race!" if you haven't asked out black women at the same rate you ask out white women. Just sayin.

It’s because we love being black and so we want to date someone who is like us. At least that is what it is for me. You want to be with someone who can understand things that black people go through such as racism. I feel like you just connect better with black men.

Sometimes they do, but most prefer black men. Most black women grew up around black men so they’re more familiar and understand their culture and struggles.
