In light of recent events i think it would be interesting to see how much we actually get along, especially in the bedroom since the ultimate sign of equality is how willing we're able to form relationships with those outside our race as we tend to be attracted to those who have things in common with us.

To those that have been in an interracial relationship, what obstacles have you had to overcome? Where there cultural clashes / similarities?

To those who haven't, why not? No judgement, it could just be personal taste, religious clashes or bad luck! But regardless, would you consider at least having a short term "encounter" with someone outside your race?

My relationships were all interracial. The first one was an exotic mix between Japanese, Italian, African-American, German, etc. The second one was Peruvian. The third one was African-American. The fourth and fifth were Indian. Race literally means nothing to me. I've never thought, "I want to date someone because they're ______" or "I don't want to date someone because they're _______." I feel that there is nothing wrong with thinking, "I find ______ more attractive," but saying, "I wouldn't date this person because they're _________" is so shallow. I understand personal preference with appearance, but discriminating against someone is completely shallow. I found that most of the people were raised in the same area where I am, so there weren't strong cultural conflicts at all. I wouldn't mind dating any race. I believe that the more important question would be whether I date someone of a different religion. If the culture was very strong to the extent that if I was with them for a long time, it would change my lifestyle in a way I wouldn't like it to do so, I would say no. I don't care what religion it is. I am atheist and would prefer someone of the same religion, the religion of having no religion lmfao, for the sake of culture clashing. However, the actual race of the person doesn't matter. I see race, in this question, more as the physical appearance and presentation of the person instead of the culture and religion. I prefer people who have similar beliefs as me, so as long as they fit those belief standards, I don't mind what race they are.

Yes, have dated interracialy and have been in interracial relationships - first boyfriend was Guyanese, second was Serbian, last was Filipino. It was mainly cultural/religious and language barriers - nothing that truly bothered me. Interacial couples are rather common.

I've been with an Asian girl once and another time with a Gypsy. The Asian girl was super sweet but way too shy. All the time, she'd never return my texts, she'd refuse my invitations to come to my place and she would be reluctant to come drink or party. The Gypsy girl was the opposite, she would always invite to family gatherings, have me take her and her friends upstate to hang out at their cottage (super fun, by the way) or visit her parents. I'd actually have married her, would it not have been for her parents. They're very keen on self-segregation, the gypsies. They don't really like outsiders to mix in with them.

Hmm i think in theory its not a big deal. But almost all black people are liberal ghetto people. Ie if you vote democrat and listen to rap and exhibit other sorts of ghetto behaviors even if you are well off, i would not be interested in you. Nor would i be interested in a girl who liked guys of such low moral caliber and behaved that way. Even if its a white guy.

Now i do know a specific black woman who is very into fitness, she's conservative, she plays piano and does not like rap or anything like that. She is someone i wouldn't think it was a problem to date.

We're all human.), and all of them were good people. One in particular I will never forget, who was my best friend for 7 years. The thing you have to understand about interracial dating is that people who want to make something work, are going to make it work. I don't really know how much race even needs to be brought up, because that tension just becomes yet one more reason to say "no." Sometimes the best thing to do is to just put thoughts about race out of your mind.

I used to work in Helsinki, and naturally as finland capital, tourists from all over the world woild fly in.
So over the 2 years I lived in Helsinki, i slept and with women of pretty much every race or ethnicity. Except black women, not attracted to them.
