Guy from work asked me out for coffee and a walk. Is this a romantic date or could it be as friends?

We work together in a grocery store but in different departments. We’ve been there for about 2 years and he always says hi and we’ve made small talk on numerous occasions. He has added me on FB and Instagram, and we’ve messaged some a year ago.
Well he just messaged me and asked if I wanted to go grab coffee or go for a walk sometime.
if I say yes- am I agreeing to more than friends? Because I only would like to be friends as I don’t feel attracted to him that way unfortunately. Yet I don’t want to ask or say yes only as friends because then maybe he will say that’s all he meant by it and then it would be awkward.

I think he is somewhere intrested in you. He is asking for a coffee or walk bcoz he want to be your frnd. and in future he might propose you also can't any thing but he want to become your frnd.
