What Guys Said
Does it really matter?
I am 29 and very honestly I can't cook very well.
Cleaning is something I can do but I am too lazy to clean.
What I think about them?
I don't have to think anything in a unique way. Why should I?
It's just like if she'd be working after marriage as well, then we both are supporting with financial burden, similarly we should be distributing household work.
all able body adults. should know the basics for cooking and cleaning. I don't expect them to be a top chef or expert homemaker though.
so at the very least they can be self-sufficient in daily life.
A Women that says she dont know how to clean or dont know how to cook is teachable but one that says she dont know how to clean is a lie an shame on her she may not want to but she know's how she just dont want to do so so Please Please don't believe that Bs ever because everyone know's how to clean they just not be good at it.
God Bless
If they dont have those basic life skills i wouldn't want them in my life.. Not wife material.. I cook, and i clean, and if i have someone that can't or won't share the load, i have no use for her in my life.
It really depends. If she wears it like a badge of honor, that's pretty strange and not really great. I don't mind at all if people don't clean themselves, but they have to have a way of keeping things clean. If she uses a cleaning service regularly then it's all good. And pretty much the same goes with food. Eating out works reasonably well in most big cities. But then you just have to make sure you've got good jobs and can afford it.
It would be nice if future wife could learn how to cook something and clean. I do not cook but would like to learn as a couple in the future if possible. As for the cleaning part, we all have to do it, nothing wrong with that.
Simple
Still can be wife material if they are willing to try to learn. It mostly just makes me sad that they are missing such important life skills. Male or female should always be able to fully take care of themselves no matter what.
I strongly believe that men and women should share the domestic chores. Unlike in the past, women now have jobs and want to climb up the career ladder and fulfil their dreams. Hobbys, work and activities give meaning to life which is why I am a feminist. Thus, both men and women should the domestic chores. Therefore, I don't care if she knows how to cook. But she should at least have willingness to learn how to cook.
i don't care but she should be able to do her stuff at least. I know how to cook or we can eat outside. If I am cleaning the house then she should be able to do stuff men usually do because 1 person can't do everything
Cleaning isn't really a skill. Anyone can clean. Not so with cooking. I just think it's kind of sad how so many women these days don't know how to cook. Cooking takes years to learn and used to be taught to girls by their mothers. When I meet a girl today who can cook I find it very attractive.
I do all the cooking and my wife does a chunk of the cleaning. It's about sharing responsibility. It really doesn't have to do with traditional stereotypes or dominance/submission. So to answer your question, I don't think much of it at all.
Can't cook is fine. Everyone can clean. I have broken up with several women because I was just grossed out going to their house or apartment. While my house can get cluttered, it is never dirty.
I can only understand that if she's too busy making money (like I am). But then we'd need to hire cleaning services from time to time and order food on a frequent basis. Still if the expenses are less this way, then I don't see why not.
Well everyone need to know how to do those things, I don't need her tondo those things for me all the time, I'm not looking for a house wife but she needs to know how to
I really don’t care, I just want her to respect me and have a lot of wild nights and morning breakfast in the most passionate way.
I don't care if she can't cook - I can do that well. But I wouldn't want to live with a slob. Hopefully there's enough household income so we hire cleaners to do a lot of the harder stuff, and just keep up with it on a daily basis.
Bro how about to maoe life less complicated get a bitch that knows how to cook and clean.
@Justintheking Because... a) I don't want a "bitch" and b) I look for more important "assets" than cooking and cleaning. Divorced huh? hmm... what a surprise !
Look yes I am divorce but that is because my ex is way too clingy.
@Justintheking Yeah, that'll do it more often than not
I hope you grow uo to not give a fuck about these archaic gender roles and realize that being able to clean and cook are basic skills that any grown person should master regardless of gender. Be who YOU want to be, not who you think some reactionary conservatives consider to be "wife material".
U stupid bro a bitch shouldn't bother getting married if she is a useless thing to keep around the house.
@Justintheking I suggest you shut your incel asshole that you call your mouth. I'm blocking you now, you piece of shit.
The question is ambiguous, in that it is not clear which sense of or is intended (inclusive or exclusive). In either case, the inability to undertake such simple, commonplace activities suggests a subnormal intellect. Someone that incompetent needs a carer, not a partner.
Note: I'm not suggesting a woman should do those things, only pointing out that the inability to do them indicates real problems.
Can't clean? or won't clean?
I don't care if she can cook or not. Women aren't here to cook for me. I can cook for myself.
cooking is a skill anyone can learn, so it's not an issue, but she can't clean? What does that mean? How can someone not be able to clean?
That they're useless shitty mother didn't do her job right at raising the bitch. A woman shouldn't consider marriage if she can't cook or clean. When I come home from work dinner should he ready and house should be clean at all times. I would never marry a useless bitch that can't cook or clean why bring that trouble to ur self live it at her parents house to deal with.
She better start watching Chef Ramzi cuz she gone starve... swipe left and on to the next. ain't nobody got the time nor want to order out all the time. I'll fuck around and go to my momma house where I know I'm gonna eat
Don't really care. They can either find someone who's enough of a simp to do literally all of the work, or hire someone to do it. Doesn't affect me.
I only state “don’t care “ simply because I don’t care if you don’t know how to cook , but the key is does she have the will or want to learn.
That their parents raised them poorly. Those are essential life skills for anyone, male or female.
But if they're willing to learn, I can look passed it.
As long as she is willing to learn so that we can split the chores, I'm fine with it. It's okay to not know something if you are willing to learn in my opinion.
The fact that she doesn't know how to cook isn't a problem. I cook I am very good. The fact that she doesn't clean instead shows up for being incompatible with me.
I’d think she’s a low quality woman. Not someone who’s attractive to me.
Bro u r smart , Yes if a bitch can't clean and have dinner ready when I get hime from work then she is useless thing to have around the house.
I wouldn’t say she’s useless as this implies a woman’s worth is based solely upon this one trait. For example, my wife is my business partner- and adds a lot more value to the table rather than cleaning. Having said that, she still cleans and cooks as she is a nurturing and understands the dynamic in which most successful relationships operate under.
They need at least to be willing to learn. I want a partner, not a child.
