I think there is a value in keeping God your focus. That he is first in your life and other interests are on the side.

I think that a lot of times God puts people in your life when the time is right.

But for me at 36... I at least want to start dating especially when the only date I've had was after one whole of paying for plenty of fish with only one date as a result. And that's not relationship either...

So I think there is a value with getting your feet wet while staying focused on God in the process. And letting him guide you in your dating choices. But I will say that when someone goes out of your life dramatically to the point of requiring a lot of effort. I think it's all about praying and asking God if it's really worth trying hard for. Because I think he can bring people in but he can bring people out as well.

Now I just hope i can find my buddy that gave me a thumbs down last time 🤔

It's true. If you're chasing and putting in all the work of pursuing someone? He's not that interested in you. You shouldn't have to chase after anyone, guy or girl, if they want you! They're just playing games or too immature to tell you how they feel about you.

I'm not saying women shouldn't ask out men, however, if he's not receptive to you? He doesn't want you. Leave him alone and find a guy that does.

Well that depends on the guy and how the girl chases him, doesn't it. The same can be said the other way around. If a guy puts in all of the effort, its because the girl isn't interested enough in him. She's just using him as a holding place until a guy she wants comes around.
