Girls, What could be the reason why good hearted, hardworking, decent looking guys remain single?

From what I've seen with the guys I'm friends with and are 'good hearted, hardworking, decent looking' yet remain single for years... being a decent person won't make girls magically flock to you. It's good that you possess those traits but you'll still have to start talking to chicks you're interested in. Then start flirting if the conversation goes well.

It's not like girls walk around with check-lists and if you're a hard-working 'nice guy', that's enough to grant you relationship status.
