Should I be weirded out that my boyfriend’s ex is watching my Instagram stories?

I have a book blog and have an Instagram account for it that’s public. I checked who had viewed my stories this morning and saw that my boyfriend’s ex had looked at it.

I’ve never met her so I told him what happened just to confirm that’s who it was. He said it was her and asked if I wanted him to contact her about it. I told him I didn’t and he was glad because he wants nothing to do with her.

We’ve been dating for almost a year now and she’s reached out to him a couple of times. He’s told me every time it’s happened. He’s responds politely once but doesn’t initiate any additional conversation.

He and I are planning on getting married (we’re not engaged yet but have talked about it a lot) and are planning on moving in together next year, so I trust him and know nothing is going on between them. It still really weirded me out.

It really just seems harmless. A lot of people get curious by their ex's new loves. People usually just want to see what the ex has chosen in life since they're no longer with them, maybe wondering if they still like blondes or if they found someone better looking, maybe taking stock of their own lives to see if their ex chose better, or if they view themselves as the one that got away. Women tend to be a bit more critical of other women, sizing up who the new girl is. It's usually harmless, and she (the ex) usually gets her fill and gets bored of it after a while. It's her little morbid curiosity, really. Nothing more. Be worried if she starts stalking you for real.

well one you should not be weirded but also do not worry because one that person is the ex of your boyfriend and besides if you two are engaged and might move in together then do not worry because i think it is normal that your boyfriend's ex sees stuff from you because maybe that ex might be mad at you but do not let that affect you because your boyfriend chose you and not that ex so.
