No, quite the opposite.
It is an insult because a trophy is an object and in this context, it signifies nothing more that the person hunting for a trophy to add to his collection has done just that. He added a person that he considers as an object for the sole purpose to objectify.
While an object may have a certain value, a human trophy is just considered as "something" good enough to abuse for a while and then this object becomes obsolete and needs to be discarded in favor of a newer object.
Not at all.

I am a "Sexy" girl according to many guys. I'm with a guy now we have fun but its not serious. He likes bringing me around with him to show off to other guys... his friends mostly. I have to admit its flattering af when he does this. Its an ego boost to know these guys are jealous and would like to get with me. I also like when he asks me to wear sexy dresses and heels. Like I said it makes me feel really desirable and I like being the center of attention. I take it as a compliment because thats how he means it.
I agree with these ladies.
There's a lot of bad messages being sent in that relationship.
So you dont want to be what a man gets for working really hard and being the best he can be? Well if you're not a trophy you're not going to get a man thats top of his game thats for sure.
Humans are not made out of metal. Beauty fades with time. You're gonna get tossed once that happens
If a mans proud of you he will treat you one way, ashamed another.
