Too much anxiety is never good. I can try to help her with her problems but if she would always be negative about things, we will absolutely break up eventually. I don't want to feel bad and be miserable for a lifetime.

I would if she was getting therapy or was actively fighting it. Not with weed or alcohol but actual healthy and productive ways of fighting.  If she just complains about it, no.

Depends upon the CAUSE of the depression or anxiety...
there's the 'Pygmalion' phenomena, but if you just 'tart up'
a woman burdened with low self-image WITHOUT commensurate
're-education'... you are but throwing her to the wolves~

I could. It would not work out. It would be tragic in the end. I recognize that as a man I have the fix it syndrome. I would end up makeing lots of sudgestions and voicing way to many opinions on how to work through the issues. But in reality such a woman needs proper support because she needs to fix it herself. It is not my job to save her. But I would try and that would lead to resentments. Big arguments. And a bitter break up.

Everybody has both to a more or less extent.

The question has she ever been admitted for psychiatric treatment? If it goes that far it’s the danger zone. If she is just getting counseling that’s different. SSRIs are debatable.

Yes, as long as she was doing something about it. I wouldn't want to be with a girl who isn't trying to better and take control of her life. Some people just give in to their problems and refuse to even try to make themselves better.

I am very empathetic, so being around anxiety make me anxious, depressed people make me depressed... so in order to stay healthy, I could not do it...
