I would be concerned if you DIDN'T GO DOWN! It is a tender area! That's why they teach us to kick the groin! I wouldn't think too much on them not thinking you are tough, getting hit there would (hopefully) make any man go down!

If I'm trying to get a man to go down as not to get assaulted by him, and having been told that a good kick to the groin is something that will definitely make them go down, I would be concerned for my safety if it didn't work, as I had DEFINITELY pissed him off!

It proves that you have the ability to be vulnerable. No one is invincible, and everyone is able to be hurt physically/psychologically, even the manliest of men. Why do you think male sports players wear a cup? A ball being thrown/kicked/hit at high speeds or wrestlers being flipped & subdued on the floor & so on... Honestly if I was in your class and I was the one who made you go down, I would buy you a drink after, I would feel so bad.

I wouldn't say we "like to see the guy on the ground holding his bits" but it does show that you guys can get hurt if we move wrong when we are on top.
And "manly" means different things to different ladies. I would rather have a man who is open & honest with me emotionally than someone who is closed off and not willing to lean on me.

All of the above, sugar, your bits are all of the above. You're human. Flaccid is "delicate & vulnerable" erect is "tough & manly". Not sure how else to say it... And even when you're all "tough & manly" if you have a lady riding you it's possible for things to go wrong and you get hurt because of a miscalculation on our part.

My job as the volunteer was to pretend to be the attacker though, I had on pads but still a solid kick can hurt
