How many girls like guys who are handy?

Do you care if your guy knows how to fix a car or build a deck? My girlfriend seems to think it's hot. When I'm doing something like that, my girlfriend always snaps a picture without me knowing it. She's taken pictures of me installing my hardwood floors, installing garden wall stones, building shelves in the garage and fixing the car. She says the workbench in the garage with my hundreds of tools hanging from the pegboard or on shelves is very manly. In contrast, her sister's husband doesn't do any of that stuff. He calls a guy to hang a picture on the wall or fix a leaky toilet. However, I'm not sure whether my girlfriend is in the minority of girls or not. I'm almost tempted to say that most girls don't care one way or another. Is this true?

Probably many.

I care in the sense of showing self-reliance skills as I can do those same tings and think people would be best suited to have those skills. I don't care in the romantic/sexual sense that I find it attractive, appealing, or a turn on.

I highly doubt most gals don't care one way or another considering how patriarchial traditional gender roles are still prevalent and pursued.

I mostly don't care. It's always great when he's helpful though, regardless of whether it's typical "manly" handiwork or not :P So it's MOST attractive when he helps out with the things I hate doing.

lol, she often makes it the picture that pops up when I call her. Sometimes she'll be showing me pictures of other stuff, and I'll point at some picture in the album and say, "Hey, what's that?" and she'll say something like, "Oh, that's when I took a picture of you building those shelves when you weren't paying attention".

Hottest thing on earth. I can't tell you how many times my friends talk about hot mechanics or how their boyfriend can fix anything. Being smart witht hat stuff makes them rely on you.

I did say that I like handy men, its partly because now a days its just impressive if they can do that sort of thing. I feel like its a dying art, so it doesn't matter really if he can or not but it is impressive.

i prefer putting energy into being handy myself. rather than seeing it as an attractive sexual trait, in a guy.

I do. I'd rather a guy be handy than have big muscles. I'm far more handy than most guys my age.
