Are dating apps dead?

So I've tried dating apps multiple times and had very little success. But in the last two years especially it just has not worked like at all. I thought it was me for my profile so I decided to change some photos to a guy on ig he has a around 1000 or so follows so not very big. And he was pretty good looking and then I changed my whole bio. Just to see if it would get more matches then mine and I did this for about a week and got 1 match. I live in a small town and I'ma guy so ik those things contribute but at this point I get no matches at all.

They can work, but you would have to try very very hard, and basically write an impressive resume just to get a date with a girl.. It's not worth it really.. Girls on dating apps either want attention or their standards are waaay too high and they expect things that normally they wouldn't get in real life. It's a mess.. In the end.. Yes dating apps have been dead for a long time basically..
