Why do men and women pretend to hate each other?

I’ve unfortunately stopped having faith in men. Why bother? My version of love is ageless and grows stronger with time. They divorce a woman as soon as she turns 30 or start mistreating her. Not all but quite a few anymore.

It's not pretending.
Women are very emotional creatures. And jealousy is an emotion.
Combined with insecurity (which a lot of women have)... well that makes a bad combo.

@LordFelidae I just saw a question about single mothers for example on here. Nobody not one of you stood up for women when they were all called whores. None of you! None of you stood up to these guys when they talked about women being worthless after 30. Not one of yoh stood up for women when awful things were said and even done to them. You just stayed silent. Folks constantly stand up to ugly superficial women. Not seeing the same response with men who d ok the same thing though.
