Guy initiates dates and cancels. Should I move on?

Every week he tells me he would love to see me but while i keep my weekends empty for him he bails on me. I believe he really has things to do because he works full time but i am also a big believer in that who wants to see someone will make time for them. What to do?

In that situation I personally would move on. I'd accept one cancelled date (assuming there seemed to be a good reason) and be willing to try again. After two I'd have serious doubts, but might consider trying a third time if I found the person very appealing, was really convinced that the reasons for the cancellations were beyond the other person's control, and they apologized profusely and seemed genuinely sorry about it.

After the third time though, I'd be done no matter what because I would be sure that the person was very poor at planning/scheduling, had a chaotic life, and/or really wasn't making me a priority and any of those would make me want to look for someone else.

Thats exactly how i feel. Because its true people can get caught up and be busy at times but not for weeks on end.

i dont quite know. at this point i stopped reaching out to him (which is unusual for me). i feel like next time he asks me I will bring it up in a teasing way. ill say something like: "if you're ever available" or "you are always too busy for me" I'm not gonna be bitter because I don't want him to know I care so. much.

What to do is bail on him. If he calls and wants a date, tell him no, you don't make plans to be stood up.
