Creepy question: Would we have a much more peaceful, loving world if all Men were bisexual/homosexual?

People, especially men, are hostile and competitive and brutal.

So, if hypothetically, all men were bisexual and lusted after each other as well, would we have a much happier world?

No. So far, the two most reliable ways we as a species have found to make the world more peaceful are 1. religion, which often doesn't play nice with homosexuality, and 2. prosperity. Prosperity DOES play nice with homosexuality, but it arises largely because of the results of competition and brutality. Alter history to change that, and you'll lose out on quite a bit.

Now, if you meant going forward, that might be a different story- if you unleash some kind of Orientizer mad-scientist beam that made everyone bisexual... No, that still wouldn't work; you'd be pushed up against cultural mores that are still too strong. If you want to have peace through superior lechery, it has to be a matter of will.

That also really only applies to men; if you think WE'RE nasty, you should see what women do to one another. We struggle openly, but when it's done it's DONE.
