+1 yLook, guys get turned on by bisexual girls, whereas only a few girls like bisexual men so if I come out and say I like women too (and I am bi curious and have told guys) mostly they are supportive because they don't see it as a problem and have a hope of seeing two girls doing stuff or getting a threesome.
Girls are also generally more physically and emotionally expressive with one another and its all seen as girly so even if I am holding hands with a girl or hugging her from behind, kissing on cheek its seen as normal girlish behaviour not anything extraordinary. I have noticed guys are kind of homophobic, they are scared of being labelled as gay all the time. So guys will not accept you and girls will not accept you whereas for a bisexual girl guys will mostly support them and even girls will ( thats why so many straight girls experiment with each other and a recent study even said that only bi and gay women exist)13 Reply- +1 y
Yeah I've watched gay porn and I wore clothes that people think I was bisexual. I don't really care what you say, I don't care about your opinion. I can share my body to whoever I like.

Bisexual guys are accepted in society just like females. No one forces them to choose but I guess more people approve of bisexual girls because guys find it hot and imagine how they can incorporate their self into their (sexual) relationship and force the girl to be loyal... However in reality it's up to the person to decide who cares what others think.
However technically a guy or girl can be bisexual and they can be for life and find both sex attractive but if they fall in love or commit and I do mean for life regardless of them being sexually attracted to both they kind of made a choice on their own which sex to be with... Although that has more to do with a coincidence than their own "official choice". But if you don't get married or have a committed relationship with someone well you can switch back and forth as much as you want.05 Reply- +1 y
Yeah ok but not every guy is attracted to 2 girls getting it on, I personally am not.
- +1 y
I don't support that though.

Okay since you don't how about you tell me your reason? I mean you're free to disagree it's not a fact however last time I checked you were the one thats asking the question there's not point in asking and then to deny everyones opinion. Either you have an idea why yourself or you're completely unaware and want to know what others think you don't have to after with it but you should consider it and from what I can see each of your responses is telling the opinion owner other wise/that they're wrong/what you believe.

1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. This is a problem most, if not all bisexuals face at least once. Having people tell them that they should just pick one and stick to it. Not to mention being accused of cheating more easily as well.
The reason why bisexual girls are seemingly more accepted is because guys fetishize the fuck out of girl on girl action, and are always hella tempted to join in and make it a threesome. In my opinion that really isn't classified as acceptance though, that's just straight up objectification. Not really any better.03 Reply- +1 y
It's not going to cut it for them.
From what I have learned, the bi-sexual male is shunned by gay males because they are not really gay and just doing it for the sex. Which is odd because I have been to a number of gay male parties where all there was around me was gratuitous sex. So a double standard. Also, gay men are not into women, and bi men are.
Women don't like men who are also into men since there is not competition.
Unless the women are bi themselve, in which case, you have found your partner who will understand your bi side.00 Reply

A gay? So you're saying men are "gay " or "straight"? You can't say bisexual/pansexual? are you shallow?
+1 yi dated a bisexual guy once, and i find that they are unfairly stereotyped. possibly because western culture is more accepting of gay women than gay men.

+1 yA bisexual girl (like myself) is more acceptable to guys because of their portrayal in the porn industry. A bi chick is acceptable sexually, but most guys and girls are afraid to date them because they think they're unfaithul.
Whereas the topic of a bisexual guy is rarely even discussed in today's society, so people don't really know how to react.06 Reply- +1 y

GG. - +1 y
You're bisexual? When are you coming out of the closet?
- +1 y
Aww, telling me to go back to the closet before even checking that I was bisexual and then asking me to come out? You sound confused :) And, for the record, yeah, I am bi and I wasn't aware that I was in the closet, thanks for clearing it up for me!
- +1 y
Can I ask why you think that?
- +1 y
You tell me why do I think that?
- +1 y
I have absolutely no idea, seeing as y'know... I'm not. Perhaps it's an instant dislike of me due to me not completely agreeing with your decision and thinking its stupid to raise a conversation and then decide you don't care what anyone says to you if it's contrary to what you believe, with this dislike fuelling you to try and assume things about a life you know absolutely nothing about so that you can attempt to piss me off? If so, it's not really working out for you.
- +1 y
Well, I am not attracted to bisexual girls or gay girls. I just like purely straight girls and when I say purely, I mean a girl who's "strictly dickly"
- +1 y
You want my reason? here it is. I just am not into bisexual girls. Are you happy now?
- +1 y
... Good for you? I'm not sure why your attraction here is relevant?
- +1 y
I am just not into bisexual girls*
- +1 y
Again, good for you. That is totally irrelevant. Your lack of attraction to bisexual women does not mean that I am in the closet, the two things have absolutely no connection.
- +1 y
Or maybe you are... But yeah, I wouldn't want to date you if you told me about your sexual history. I am into strickly dickly girls.
- +1 y
Dude, I dont really care? You don't seem to be a very nice person, so I wouldn't wanna date you either? It works out well for both of us.
However, I do wonder why you think it's okay to criticise people for avoiding dating bisexual men when you yourself turn around and say that you don't like bisexual women. It's the same issue. - +1 y
I don't want to date a bisexual girl so when I heard your sexual history and you've told me you've slept with girls, I am out the door no ifs ands or buts.
- +1 y
I can read your comments clearly. The point is that you're not making sense. Whether you're attracted to me or not is completely irrelevant to the argument and I already told you that I would never be interested in being with you so why should I care whether you'd want to be with me anyway?
My point was that you are complaining that bisexual men get ignored in terms of dating. You are literally doing the same thing to bisexual women. Why is it okay for you to do it but not them? - +1 y
I also didn't tell you my sexual history.
- +1 y
Why I don't like bisexual girls? Whenever you tell me that you've dated girls, insecurity runs into place and that insecurity fuels me to leave you.
- +1 y
Good because I don't really want you to tell me.
- +1 y
I didn't tell you I dated girls, and I'm not asking why you don't like bisexual girls. Are you sure that you understand English? I've repeatedly said that I don't care whether you like bisexual girls or not.
My question is why is it acceptable for you to criticise people for not giving bisexual men a chance when you do the same thing. It's fine for you to not want to date a bisexual girl but you have to realise that you can't criticise those who make the same choice regarding bisexual men because you're doing the same thing. - +1 y
I didn't say it's okay... I just want to be treated equal.
- +1 y
Except that you're doing the exact same thing to bisexual women. So it's fine for you to be treated like an equal by women but you refuse to extend that respect to them because of your insecurity?
- +1 y
Umm I was born in Canada, I fully understand you... I don't like bisexual girls because it's called "insecurity." A man's body can't compete with a woman's body. I am happy to live without a girl. I don't really care for a girl to be honest with you. I've had sex, I am not a virgin. I also like girls who are strickly dickly and I have work to go to. So go argue with someone who has more time on his hands than me. Bye-bye

- +1 y
You saying you want to have equal treatment and not to be ignored by woman because you're bi?
But you also said you won't date bi girls... Is that correct?
Because if that is what you're saying then the reason why girls don't want to date you is most likely the same reason you don't want to date bi girls.
You're saying you want equal treatment, but you say you won't date bi girls isn't that the same thing as girls saying they don't want to date you because you're bi?
So isn't that equal treatment? - +1 y
@Nuala yeah I don't date bi girls because I don't like threesomes.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yWomen want security and a bi sexual man to a woman is kind of like, imagine a pole teeter tottering from side to side and as the wind blows could at any minute fall any which way the gay or straight side and that's not a secure feeling and insecurity to women is negative therefore bi sexual men are not usually accepted as long term partners by women.
Men usually just take a bi woman as a sign there is a possible ffm three some in the future. Ffm three somes to men are positive therefore bi girls are more accepted as partners.17 Reply- +1 y
You're stereotypical. Guys don't want to date bi girls because it's the same thing. INSECURITY! Guys get insecure too when a guy see his girl I top of another girl. Not all guys want threesomes. I DO NOT want a threesome
- +1 y
Guys want security too not just girls and not all guys like threesomes. You're very irrelevant for a person who is in the age range of 18-24.
- +1 y
On******
Opinion Owner+1 yUh where did I write "all guys like threesomes"?
Ok let's not kid ourselves, when a guy meets a girl and she says she's bi sexual the first thought that enters his mind is typically not how insecure it makes him feel that he has met a bisexual girl, It's usually more 'oh nice if all goes well, this could be an opportunity to maybe have a three some.' He doesn't think of marrying her, he doesn't think of settling down and having kids with her, he doesn't think of a long term relationship with her but women do! That's the difference! They think a thousand steps into the future and assess immediately that they definitely won't date this guy on the grounds he could realise he's fully gay and leave me and our possible future kids and that's the reason you won't see women dating bi men, and because guys don't generally think about the future immidiately upon meeting a bi girl, is the reason you'll see guys gladly accepting to date a bi woman.
Opinion Owner+1 ySure in the future a guy might realise ok, "I'm actually kinda starting to like this girl and it makes me a little uncomfortable that she's into both men and women" and sometimes it's too late they maybe too invested and it doesn't matter and sometimes they do end that relationship because of that insecurity.

Normality? There isn't normality in this world to begin with. People have done stupid things that isn't normal. There isn't normality, all is there is differential.
- +1 y
What normality you're talking about? When I see this world. More people are different than alike.
Opinion Owner+1 yNormality as in adhering to the norm, which is currently heterosexuality. Now the acts taken by a woman with another woman are more or less the same as those between a woman and a man. However a man and a man... I don't know, outside of some kinksters most of us don't take it up the butt.
I am just spawning ideas here mate. I don't know. It could just as well be the fact that porn etc has glorified women being into women whereas men being into men hasn't received the same preferential treatment.- +1 y
I am just saying there isn't normality, people have a lot of bad stuff going on to their lives. But yeah, there are guys who seem straight may like pussy and dick just saying.
Opinion Owner+1 yThat is fine. Again by normality I meant as in reference to the current norms. Now if you're into men I am all for that. Then the dashing young fellow that is you won't take one girl who I might be interested in. Perfect for me really.

Women can be more easily accepted as bisexual because of the way that they are portrayed in porn. Bisexual men are seen as flouncy and not very masculine, and that can be a turn off to a lot of women.

Sorry wrong person. My bad...
+1 yWhat region are you in? I'm Canadian too, and I'm bisexual as kind of an open secret, and I've never had anyone take issue with me for it.

+1 yI accept it, but yeah I know it's not as common for guys to admit it.

+1 ySeems like every sloot today is bisexual I definitely can understand your frustration.

How is that?
- +1 y
Are you implying me that you're a "homophobe"?
- +1 y
Term "homophobia" is incorrect in it's core; "phobia" stands for "fear" (I'm personally arachnophobic (i. e. terrified of spiders). When I see one, I'm scared shitless.
). This term was invented to blacken healthy reaction towards disgusting unnatural thing and to make it look like as if another person actually has a problem, not a homosexual.
When I see a male homo/bi, I experience nothing but disgust. Disgust has nothing in common with fear: if you see a poop on a street, you're likely disgusted, but you don't flee in terror, aren't you?
So term "homonauseous" or something like this would be more correct.

+1 yWhy do you care?
012 Reply- +1 y
I care because I want to be equally treated whenever I wear something opposed to me being bisexual such as v-neck and skinny jeans.
- +1 y
I'm bisexual too and I've never really encountered any problems because of it. Give me one example of you being mistreated because of it.
- +1 y
Do girls give you cold shoulders when they're near you?
- +1 y
Or you look at them?
- +1 y
No, I have plenty of female friends that all know I'm bisexual, my girlfriend and my exes also know that I'm bisexual
- +1 y
Ok... do you have guy friends that support your sexuality too?
- +1 y
Yes.
- +1 y
And you still haven't given me an example of you getting mistreated for being bisexual
- +1 y
@ShayanMortazavi1 you wanted to me tell you I was mistreated as being bisexual... I am not really bisexual but I hate being mistreated because I was wearing v-neck and skinny jeans.
- +1 y
And what mistreatment did you encounter exactly?
- +1 y
Women giving me could shoulders.
- +1 y
Give me one example
