Don't be fool but sorry that's probably not gonna be love. That's just gonna lust or limerence if ya will.
Not to say someone cannot be in love you without met yet. Just 5 months ain't long enough to know you love someone. May feel that way for sure. But after more time passes the reflect will come and see if's actual feelings of love or was just lust fueling that feeling of love.

It's fine to say it cause it's what you feel as for now. But always gotta keep the knowing of the difference in the back of your mind.

Well it is premature for him to say that, if you haven't actually met face to face yet. All this kind of started when the internet was still new, say 25 years ago. People were meeting on the internet and corresponding on a regular basis and feelings developed. But you really can only know a part of the person that way until you meet face to face. There is just too much missing until you get to know the person face to face.
