Well yesterday in school, me and my friend were talking about how we'll go catch some game on the weekend and there's this ugly fat girl that jumps in and bothers us while we were minding our own business and when our fucking super annoying leftist geography teacher walks in she breaks the conversation then when the fatty told her, she publicly defamed us, those whores. Luckily I'm in the majority since it's our culture to go hunting with your friends and family in this season. My girlfriend was grossed out by it at first but once she went camping with me we shot down a capercaille and I made her degut it and she was horrified but now she's just like me and doesn't mind cleaning a roe for straight up hours. A lot of people would question my morality and say killing is bad but to me it isn't and I would love to move on to bigger game.
Yes, as long as it's ethical hunting. I dislike sport hunting, as it's just unnecessary death. I think of hunting as a conservation project, and if you want target practice you should shoot trap or skeet or five-stand or something. I have my hunting license and will be going duck hunting with my dad come fall, but in between I'll be going to the gun club for target practice.
Well I'm not going to lie I've done some unethical things (in desperation) here at home and I've done some sport hunting when I used to live in South Africa as well (nothing illegal). I compete in trap shooting as well.
I grew up with three brothers and we often went hunting with dad, uncle & grandfather. I've no use for trophy or sport hunters though. The last ones we encountered somewhere in the Rocky Mountains were at the lodge bitching they couldn't find any good elk... yeah well maybe if they got their fat asses off the ATVs, ditched the high power rifles, and walked/hunted like real men by tracking game they would have.
sure if they hunt and eat and use everything of the animal I see no problem with it even though I would rather pet the animal instead shooting it, BUT if they simply hunting for the pleasure of the kill and waste animal then no, sure there is always the thrill of the hunt but I dislike waste and useless killing
I fish which is basically the same thing except I use a fishing pole instead of a fire arm. If you hunt for food I respect that. If you hunt to decorate your place with animal heads I'm opposed to that. I find it best to date people who share similar philosophy.
Absolutely, even though I am not much of a hunter myself I have friends that hunt and I love eating deer meat etc. I am more of a fisher and I have went duck hunting before , so I have nothing against it what so ever , so if i met a girl that hunts I would be supportive of it
I've alwyas been the hunter. Nothing on my tale. But there was something in you, I knew. Could make that change. To capture a predator. You can't remain the prey. You have to become, and equal, in every way.
I was just reciting the lyrics of a song 😅. But yeah it's a good point. I've hunted birds mostly in my time the country I came from doesn't have many bears and hogs are not abundant either but you need a hunting budy more than a hunter girlfriend, unless it's something you wanna try
Im a vegetarian and have been for 25 years. And if you are going to eat meat, it's better to hunt and dress it yourself. I have no problem with hunting to put food on your table. I do have issues with trophy hunting though.
I also think it's cowardess to go down and buy meat at the store, then not be willing to kill yourself. Just having someone else do the dirty work.
I don't eat meat so no, but if I lived in a food sweet maybe. I can afford to be selective because I live in the city, so hunting would be purely for pleasure and I'm not into that. But survival hunting is definitely okay.
I have never gone hunting but I know a few people who are into it. It is a lifestyle choice more than anything else. A girlfriend that goes hunting would not be a dealbreaker for me. I would probably want to try it with her.
Honestly I don't see the appeal of hunting. I understand killing animals for food. I don't like the animal heads on the wall. I got side tracked.
Yeah I'd date a girl who hunts. I'd come along on hunting trips and find out what's so fun about it. No it's not immoral and a lot of animals hunt. Humans aren't an exception.

Have you ever heard of the supermarket? That means you don't have to go kill your own meat and contribute to the human induced mass extinction as well as possibly kill some poor animal's mother or a hungry predator's food source. Sure, go camping and enjoy nature, yes. But kill the wildlife for fun? No. There's nothing manly or tough about using high powered weaponry to kill free, defenseless animals for no reason. There's no nomadic skill involved in it either. You're pathetic.
Well deers destroy the saplings I plant to regrow the trees I have cut down for firewood so I don't discriminate I kill and eat both prey and predator. Supermarkets are disgusting and unhygienic to me I don't trust their quality while I feed some of these animals myself and know they aren't doing anything that will harm me after I eat them.
Any idiot knows you don't cut down trees and immediately burn them to make a campfire so don't give me any of that bullshit. Killing wildlife indiscriminately isn't exactly an improvement either. Supermarkets are subject to strict health and safety guidelines as are their suppliers, so stop making excuses. Yes there is the odd violation but that is the exception which proves the rule. Wild animals are prone to all sorts of diseases which appropriately farmed animals are protected from, so cut the shit. There is no excuse for the abhorrent lifestyle you live. You're not a big man with your gun shooting defenseless animals unnecessarily. You're a pest. Vermin.
Not only to make campfires but for everything from fences to protect our land to new axe handles. The law states that if there's any wild animal on my land then the animal is mine since it's on private property. A bear ate my dearest cat and now he's hung up on my wall and as revenge I ate him.
Obviously it is different if it is your own property but a lot of species have gone extinct due to the spread of agricultural land. You have no right to murder the wildlife. Domestic cats are a noxious pest and I repeat, you're not a big man with your high powered weaponry. If the cat was eaten, that is your fault for letting it out. Cats should be kept indoors. It should be you hung up on the wall. You disgust me.
Personally no, I've been hunting once and didn't really enjoy it. But I know plenty of people who do enjoy it. Then again I like fishing and I wouldn't expect the women I date to enjoy fishing so it's usually something I do alone or with the boys.
No need for hunting these days. We can breed all the meat we need in farms. And overpopulation in the wild isn't a problem if we keep the predators around.
As long as hunting is done in a respectful and humane manner I have no problem with it. In fact taking Deer is essential otherwise the population will over produce.
Yes, I absolutely would. I don't care for hunting myself, only cause I find it boring and it sounds like a lot of work. However I totally get why people do it. I have no issue with it at all.

true hunters hunt to feed good quality fish and game to their family and friends, i very rarely buy store bought ground or cut bullshit and its a skill you will need in cities when zombies come... . lol
Oh I fully agree with that. I can see some times having to kill pests too. For example in the rural south razorbacks (wild hogs) are a real problem. They are vicious. They will attack nearly anyone or anything, they will cause a lot of damage to farmland. So in special cases like that hunting permits will be issued with no limit. The same with coyotes out west which can be a real problem. In such a case the local governments want those animals killed in mass. When I lived in CA a lot of places had no limit and year round hunting for coyotes.
Outside of hunting and eating what you hunt or killing major league dangerous pests I abhor hunting. I agree it’s a psychopath would want to hunt simply to kill. That is deranged and vicious.
