Maybe. I have before, and the only downside I noticed is they usually have a ton of guy friends, so even if you share the hunting, dating and what not, she isn't hurting for options once the puppy love wears off.
I mean, just because a woman has a certain hobby doesn't mean she's automatically wife material or not. That's just one hobby of hers (granted one that means she has venison in the deep freeze). You know, is she attractive, honest, fun to spend time with.
Those seem much more important to me than if she goes in the woods with a shotgun or rifle during the fall/winter.
I have done my fair share of shooting animals. Hunting is a female role in hunter gatherer tribes but only in terms of lizards and similar sized animals. On a farm it is a matter of pest control and a task.
How would I react to a women who I liked and on the first date she tells me she likes hunting? Not so sure when I think about it. I'd not be so put off as not go on a second date but I do prefer femme girls.
Whether things progress will possibly hinge on how femme she is in other ways.
I like the outfit and gun part but I wouldn’t be able to kill an animal.
I would think what if she has a child or parents waiting and he will never go back to them…
The thought of it brings me tears.
However, I can see myself dressing up like a hunter, sexy hunter specifically.
After all, my childhood dream was to be a pirate.
I wouldn't be with anyone that owns a gun, period.

In my area, women who enjoy hunting are redneck tomboys. Not my style!
You'd be surprised to see that my friend is a very feminine lady
Wow, @OlderAndWiser! Something we disagree on there! Lol
@Jamie05rhs I have always seen hunting as a very masculine endeavor.
@OlderAndWiser That's okay!
I'm not into hunting so it wouldn't work. I date women who have similar interests and hobbies.
I'm going to share a controversial take on this; I hope you don't mind: I think hunting is a sport for the privileged. Guns cost money, and ammo costs money. And gasoline to get to the forest costs money. (And you also have to purchase a hunting license, if you want to do it legally.) There are more female hunters these days because women are in a better financial position than men, comparatively speaking compared to past history.
But yes, I absolutely would date her.
Honestly I think I agree with you, as it is an expensive sport. Although I also have to say that a lot of the hunting our club does is to control overpopulation and the meat is used for free food at local festival or for charity BBQs.
That said, some of us - not me, but my friend is like that - are big game hunters and go to other countries too. I find that excessive.
@Sun_Kim-Ai Thanks. Yeah; I agree. And I think that's awesome that you guys do that. A lot of hunters here in America do that as well.
For most is sadly is. There is subsistence hunting, but that's a small minority of the population.
I don’t like the idea of hunting for fun and would never date anyone who did.
I don’t see what’s entertaining about killing animals. That’s some psychopath shit to be frank.
Here it's not Just a sport, it's sanctioned by the government to control overpopulation.
The meat is used for free food at local festival or for charity BBQs.
Well that’s good then. As long as something good is coming out of it
Well I did and I have been lol till an accident!
She love being wild and dangerous and sadly one time she took the safety off with the gun inside her and bang!
So scared I screamed and her parents came down to see the horror!
Only bright side is for a dare she and my college friends played darts on her belly and she loved it!
I understand the ecological importance of responsible hunting. I also know there's a lot of irresponsible hunting going on. I also believe you should use 100% of what you take, because something gave it's life for that.
Now that said, I find it boring AF and I personally don't enjoy hunting what can't hunt me back on at least equal footing, so I probably won't be joining her.
I did. First time we went hunting (her first) she dropped it. A 13 point buck. Her daddy was so proud. That year i got her a six pack of deer urine. It was a joke gift, 100% honest. Talk about being mad. I told her dad and mom about it before hand. They laughed their ass off. girlfriend didn't think it was funny at all. Broke up with me that night. According to her dad she used it and got more deer. Go figure.
I would be fine with that hobby. I might try it myself with her.
However, we would have to leave my part of Switzerland for that. The constitution of the Republic of Geneva forbids hunting in its territory.
Would love to have a girlfriend like that.
Food on the table and knows how to handle a gun for protection.
Probably not, not because I object to hunting, but we wouldn't have much in common.
oh yea for sure, i will use the heart eye emoji to express my genuine attraction towards it 👉😍👈
Hunters should have their guns taken away from them to make it a fair fight. Give them a knife instead. Then throw them into a lion or tiger cage or into shark infested waters, and film it for our entertainment. I would love to watch hunters being hunted.
Definitely would consider it. Don't mind women who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty from time to time.
Yes, I do not hunt animals but maybe she would like to go to the range with me.
Me! Pick me! I'll go!!!
@TrueConfection What are you packing these days?
Nothing. My husband won't allow guns. I'm pretty good with a 12 gauge.
@TrueConfection I have a Remington 870 12 gauge
Do you ever go clay shooting?
@TrueConfection no. I just have it for protection.
I'm a red blooded American man. Of course I'd have no problem with it. Although I've never hunted myself. I don't have the patience for it.
probably not i don't like to go outside. maybe if she played hunting video games instead.
As long as she let me cook the catch. I love me game meat.
Into hunting for sport? No. Into hunting for food? Yes. I have a great distaste for trophy hunting, as I consider it wasteful and somewhat mocking of nature.
That's a huge positive trait, but also means the competition will be far too fierce for me to handle, better off not wasting my time there
probably not. I don't like hunting and huntng girls are usually too conservative for my taste
Certainly. At least we would be able to eat!
Yes. I'd have a shooting partner and a source of sweet delicious venison.
Yes I'd date a girl whose into hunting, I don't see it as a problem.
As long as she's not hunting endangered animals, I don't think I'll have an issue with it.
I love red neck girls. Right up there with pinay in my opinion.
Just one more thing we could do together... I am all for it...
Heck yea. I Love hunting. She could be my hunting buddy.
Ohhhh yeah definitely
Sure, kill it and grill it.
That would probably be a plus for a lot of guys.
I would not. We could go fishing though!
Sure, maybe she out shoots me
Probably not. I'm not really into hunting.
Nope.
I would
I could date
But of course.
