That is a very good question. Unfortunately that is true. You are a woman and yes women totally dislike lies and dishonesty in a man. They always men to be honest and truthful with them, doesn't matter if they are just acquaintances only.

Well, that being almost all woman are like the one I mentioned above, but some women just don't have the courage or strength to hear the truth and may prefer sweet lies instead but I think that percentage of women are very small.

Small percentage of women who prefer such sweet lies from a man is because it is indeed easier for men to lie to a woman to make her smile, lie to a woman to make her feel good or to assure her in some way. Logically and conceptually speaking LYING and achieving a task is much easier and can be done faster rather than doing the same task by telling the TRUTH.

Being honest, speaking the truth and achieving things the right way is much tougher. Of course being truthful and honest is always morally right and is the right way to live life as well.

At least I believe if good things are to be done they can be achieved by being honest and truthful also, the task may be tough but it certainly doable.

I think a lot of girls know guys are lying to them, however they want to live the sort of fantasy relationship they have in their heads, the put up with or ignore the bullshit that the lie is hiding.

also the need for a relationship, some will accept an element of lying rather than being single.

Most of the time, the person will only reveal their true colors until the crux of the relationship. You don’t always get true intentions up front. This is fairly unanimous knowledge. Someone can ask you out without even reciprocating your same beliefs. That’s the point of dating. Finding out what those beliefs are. But even then, you’re not always going to get the benefit of the doubt.

@Ninjazzed I agree that at the start of a relationship doesn't indicate as much as when people have been together a long time and sure there's exceptions where a naieve person is with a manipulator. But if someone is constantly in the same kind of relationship over & over again the need to look in the mirror. Same if they're in it for many, many years.

Far as the point of dating is to find out your beliefs. Oh, I disagree with that. This may be the excuse people use to be in and out of relationships every 3-8 months. You shouldn't actually need to date other people to know what you want BUT most people don't really know who they themselves are. And when you don't know who you are you'll be confused/wandering a lot. The more you know about who you are the less you need to experiment. So maybe people use dating to find out but it's misguided and a long round about way to trying to figure out something about themselves I'd say.
