+1 ySome things I expect on a first date
1 - Not saying as soon as it starts that you have to leave in a short while
2 - Offering to extend the date after the initial time
3 - Not arriving too early or late
4 - Have the cell phone on hand to call if delayed in traffic or so the date can call if they are delayed or so you guys can change meeting areas if something unexpected happens
5 - Research a few things to talk about before hand and save that for the uncommon possibility that you and your date lose the flow of conversation and new words are needed
6 - Don’t express too much emotion before the date through phone or text because it will increase nervousness during the date
7 - Never agree to eat somewhere beyond your budget
8 - Never bring co workers or family on a first date or casual first meeting because it could make you afraid to be your true self around the person
9 - Try to meet somewhere where you will not run into church people or school or family or work contacts
10 - Activities like zoos or amusement parks make fun dates but probably not something you should do until you guys are close
11 - Avoid areas where two people is not enough for a good time such as a beach or a barbecue - a night singing to guitar music or playing with your pets would be better30 Reply

1. Be confident
2. Be yourself
3. Kiss her by the end of the date (if you don’t, another will. And don’t say sorry for kissing her, say that you could not resist and compliment her someway).
😉 Your good to go!34 Reply- +1 y
@spuitkaas oh thanks for this explanation :) and would that kiss be on lips or or on cheek?
- +1 y
Well maybe it helps if I give you a scenario. I went out on our first date with my husband and I was not that into him, I really enjoyed his company but that night during the date which was at the movies he kept looking at me and smiling.
I looked back at him laughing like “what?“ he then made the move to kiss me and that just changed everything. I went out with him thinking we were just friends but he showed me that he wanted more. Him being such a gentleman and also having a sense of humor I loved but the fact that he dared to do that just took me by surprise and showed me he can take control too.
Maybe that’s just my type of personality and reaction. It could not work for other girls. 🤷🏻♀️
What Girls Said
+1 y1. If he’s inviting me on the date, he’s paying
2. He must converse with me and get to know me before meeting up with me. My time requires effort beforehand , and it ensures you are more likely a safe person
3. Be yourself! can't stand men that just aren’t themselves
4. If we are eating at a restaurant, and you are rude to the waitress/waiter, I’m ditching you. I’m a waitress and you better respect that waitress
5. Lead our date. You better be talking to that hostess and asking for a table.
6. Humor , humor, humor. Humor breaks awkwardness. If you can make me laugh, you can have my heart.00 Reply
+1 yBring a big bouquet of nice roses and dress nicely and brush his teeth and clean his fingers and nails- he must not touch her body because he thinks it’s cute, he must give her space and be respectful always
11 Reply1. Be their authentic selfs.
2. Be open minded.
3. Make her laugh or smile.
4. Be a gentleman
5. And make sure to not call her back for a second date if you are not 100% infatuated by them. Because choosing the person you want to be with romantically for a long time is something you should take seriously and not just choose a girl because you don't want to be alone.10 Reply- 2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yShow up ON TIME! Be clean and polite. OFFER to pay, even if you insist on going Dutch. Guys always make more money than women, so the offer shows deference!
ASK ABOUT YOU FIRST. If he drones on and on, end the date early and figure you dodged a bullet. Listens well. He has some compassion!
If those all make the hit list, you have some potential!02 Reply- +1 y
@gaaaaa It's sexist to be clean and polite, to ask about the woman, to listen well, show compassion? I'll flip that script and say it's equally important for the woman to do the same. But the question was about what GUYS should do. I always attempt to go Dutch. If a man insists, I'm not going to insult him. I think it's nice of him. But in early dating, Dutch is better. No obligations. Nothing sexist about what I've said.
*Pay! DO NOT let her pay for anything!
*Offer to pick her up.
*Plan something fun and different (surprise her)
*open the car door
*give her a complement but don't be creepy or over do it.
*be respectful
*DON'T TALK IN 3rd PERSON and DON'T TELL HER HOW YOU TALK TO GHOSTS (both of those have happend to me)00 Reply- 369 opinions shared on Dating topic.

@bamesjond0069 is it sexiest if a guy pays? 😳 I don't seem to understand. lt seems.
- +1 y
Ofc its sexist. But in my opinion sexist is acknowledging the differences between sexes which is good. Yeah its sexist to tell a man to carry the heavy thing... but men typically are stronger and so it ought to be that way and that way is good. So the fact its sexist is good. Same with paying for a date. Men should pay and its definitely sexist and thats good.

1- genitas can be the same tho. Like genitals do not matter in yoyr gender.
2- gender roles do not matter and are quite dumb if u thimk bout it. Like we are already defined before we are abe to do something? or we cannot do somethings because of our gender? like it does not make sense

@bamesjond0069 oh let me tell u miss thing, we can do anything a man does.
