Do you think it easier to find a potential partner online or in real life?

I personally have had more succes online simply because I am surrounded by more women in my daily life and I am not someone who likes going out to clubs.

what do you think the results would be after the pandemic is truly over? Online or real life?

THough it might be easier to MEET someone online, it is far easier to discover who someone is in RL.

There are too many factors that are unknown while you're talking online that will cause an immediate FAIL when someone meets in person. I cite this repeatedly in GAG:

Studies show that only 7 percent, SEVEN PERCENT of a person can be known from WORDS ALONE. Consider: How does a person dress? What does she or he eat? How do they speak? How do they carry themselves? What are their personal habits? Are they clean? Are their clothes well taken care of, ironed if need be? Do they have bad breath? All of their teeth? Do they wear deodorant?

OK, you're laughing now, but these aren't laughing matters.

Case in point. I have a young adult son. He's 25 now.

When he was 19 to 21, I had Looooonnnnggg discussions with him about his BODY ODOR!!! He whined that he took showers. I said, showers are not enough. You are in the height of your hormonal life! You exude FUNK! Wear deodorant. You STINK.

And at the time I said that, he LITERALLY STANK. He was rancid. His clothes were lovely, his hair and nails well groomed, but his BO was BO!!!

Finally by age 23, he'd changed. I complimented him because it was SO NOTICEABLE!!! These are the little things that you cannot ascertain over the internet. I could not stand to be around a man who smelled like my son did. Like he'd just come out of the gym or from working at a construction site! My son is like me: We sweat, get funky and need baths and deodorant!

Soap is a wonderful thing and so is deodorant.

Same is true of someone with halitosis. I've only met one person in my life who suffered from this ailment, but BOY did he suffer! It was miserable talking to him he had such bad breath!

And then there's the clothing issue. Is your date neat? His nails clean? His clothes in good repair. Does he NOT look like a homeless person living on the street?

Some folks don't care about their appearance. Who knows why? If you DO, you'll not sit well with someone who doesn't. You'll be embarrassed being seen with them. I know I would. Someone who isn't CLEAN in their clothes or their body will be a problem if you ARE.

None of these things can be ascertained UNLESS YOU'RE WITH A PERSON IN PERSON! You'll waste precious time talking to someone you have no possibility of meeting in a timely manner: from two or three weeks to two or three months. Any longer than that and you'll slip into a fantasy about how much "in love" you are with this person, when it's based on very little of a real-life situation: being WITH that person In person...

Of what I see from friends and so it is still most who meet in real life, but also many online, maybe like 30 %. Real life sure has some advantages.
I personally prefer online. It is easier to be clear on my intentions even before meeting than figuring out along the way with someone from my everyday life. And someone just asking me out on the street or a bar feels even more superficial than online, there one can at least get to know some interests and values from the profile.

------------You will always have more luck online due to the larger amount of possibilities. I tell my clients to use ONLINE DATING as a tool in their dating tool belt. Just because someone utilizes online dating doesn't mean they can't also be pursuing an active dating life offline. When you combine the two you will have a much better shot then doing just one.

Many people have huge misconceptions about inline dating. Some people actually believe that online dating means that you never actually meet in person. The name should be changed to online meeting.

I have consistently had good results with online dating, and I have done it at least four different times since 2007.

I think people "think" it's easier online... It might be easier to "meet" people, but not too really get to know until you spend in real person time together... These online relationships where they're dating, yet never met other than video or face time, if they're so great, why do most of them end (a lot of times without them even ever having really met in person)?

Clearly online. Women aren't straightforward so in real life women will come up and talk to me. Then after a while walk away mad because I didn't get she was interested. When at no point did she say " I'm interested" or even give me a hint.
If I approach them they are never interested.
So the great thing about online dating is women can't hide why they're there. And it infuriates a lot of them I've noticed. a lot of them will even go to the extent of saying something like "I'm just here to see what's out there". Because they want to let you know right up front they feel like online dating is beneath them. Any woman that posts that in her profile I block just on principle. I don't even contact women they contact me. No ot's not a lot. But b that's OK cause I'm only looking for 1. The right one. And I figure if she'll take the time to contact me she's probably not playing around.

there's more fish in the online ocean, but the quality is low. Also, its much easier to put on a veneer online and maintain it. IRL was better for me to meet quality people, but it took a lot more effort. IRL you see the 'real them' a whole lot quicker.

I have more success in real life. I suck at taking pictures so I always end up looking better in person than online ( hear it allllllll the time). In all honesty I want to meet whoever I end up with in person and I’ve had pretty good success with it in the past.

It is well-known that the Internet is full of weirdos, creeps, trolls, catfishes, serial killers or at best people with some "issues" (mainly socially awkward individuals). Most well-functioning adults with a good social life prefer to date within their own circle.
I don't see why anyone would prefer a virtual page

Maybe it's easier online but at the same time very risky, because you never know who's behind the screen.
I used to meet people from online apps, and to be honest most of them went really good and i had fun, BUT AS SOON AS THEY FOUND OUT THAT (some of them not all) I have no intentions to sleep with them on the first date they avoided me, some blocked me, some called me a waste of time lol... even requested i pay them back for the date...

I don't think one is easier than the other. On one hand, online you're seeing single people that are also (supposedly) looking as well, so you're not guessing if they are single or not, but on the other hand, very few people seem to take it seriously. Some just do it for attention and nothing else, fake profiles etc. But it's hard no matter what.

Online is really fucking hard as a guy. At least if you go the traditional dating app/site route. You might meet them through other means. The only sites I have found success on are the Cupid sites. And a lot of that is probably down to perceived economic disparity.
