Paying the bills is NEVER a bad thing. Supporting yourself is NEVER something to be ashamed of.
All that happens is I would feel bad as I know retail can suck with the entitled and shitty customers. It's why I'm always conscious to try and help them and be as polite as possible.
Yeah, It sucks knowing half the customers already treat you like a loser working there..
Yes I would. Jobs like McDonald’s are not designed for people in their 30s unless if you are in management or a higher up position. McDonald’s should not be a goal. I would only find it acceptable if the guy is mentally disabled or has a disability
I just got hired at a mcdonald's and I'm in my mid 30s.. So if you seen me working there you would think I'm a total Loser?
No I wouldn’t think you are a loser off the bat.
Okay, Can you explain then? Because before you said you would. I just to understand your perspective. Obviously Mcdonald's isn't a goal lol I just couldn't find another job.. And honestly I actually do feel like a loser right now lol
I wouldn’t just assume somebody working there is automatically 30, so no I don’t look at McDonald’s workers and am like “damn he’s a loser for working there” but if I knew someone was 30 and too lazy to find something better even though they are capable, yes I would think they are a loser
Okay so if you seen me working at a mcdonald's and you knew I was in my 30s you would think I'm a total Loser?
Yes, unless if you have a condition that inhibits you from getting better
No, I don't have any conditions. I had an offer from mcdonald's and taco bell and I chose mcdonald's lol
Is there a reason why you wanted a minimum wage job over something better?
Well, I didn't finish high school and I've only had a couple temporary jobs a few years ago so those were the only places that would hire me..
Do you plan on finishing high school? Also, people need to get out of their heads that looking down on minimum wage jobs is a bad thing. If I’m going to work hard, I am simply that settling for minimum wage and I feel like everyone should look at it that way. Earning a nice paycheck is rewarding
No, I Don't have any plans to go back to school. And It's okay I'm fine with you looking down on it you gave me an honest answer you told me I'm a loser and I appreciate you telling me your opinion.
My opinion shouldn’t really matter to you, but yeah I feel like no one should strive to be below average.
I've learned to accept being below average and now my job matches my dick lol
I didn’t need to know about your body part, but there’s no reason to strive for poverty level pay is my point.
I know you didn't ask about it sorry was just making a joke of it lol
No, I wouldn't think that at all. I don't know your life story about why you ended up in a job like that, so I wouldn't judge you without knowing the reasons why you ended up working there.
Well, I just had a hard time finding a decent job.. But for some reason when you bring up having a job at mcdonald's most people look at you like a total loser..
You shouldn't care what others think about it. You are the only one knowing how hard times you ve had.
It's still better than sitting on a couch and doing nothing
Depends on the position.
Just entry level cashier
So, would you think he's a loser?
I would think he's a loser unless he has no job at all and not even trying.
What do you mean?
Nope, just a job
