No. Being friends with one, that is different. Dating, no. WHY? Because dating should lead to marriage. And if this guy doesn't have a plan, that is a big concern. It is why I never dated even when I didn't have a job. I was job hunting and I had to turn down men. You have to get yourself together. Your concern should not be on dating or women. But to get yourself financially in order, before God forbid your stuck in unemployment and not having any health benefits, etc to help take care of yourself. What are you looking for a dating relationship for? That would make me nervous and I wouldn't feel safe in dating somebody who doesn't know what to do.
