If you have a good reason why, please say.
Imagine you've been talking for however long you need, and it's time to make plans now. How much in advance do you plan before meeting up?
It really depends on the situation, I'm good going out with someone the same day, or even right then, as long as I don't have work and/or other plans, or if I'm feeling physically and mentally good. Of course, I have to live in reality, and since I'm often pretty busy, it will have to wait.
2-3 days.. it is nice to show one wants to make some time in the calendar for it, and I like looking forward to it for some days.. much longer than that, then there is a higher change something else shows up. Either for him, but I am also often not prepared to give up a potential cool event for a normal first date (checking for chemistry) and want to keep my days open a bit longer.
Well I run fun reconnaissance on my women before I meet with them. This includes NSA, CIA, local police background checks, psychological profile analysis, etc. So I generally prefer to have at least a week between asking her out to actually meeting her for a date.
I ask a woman for a first date on Friday or Saturday night no later than the preceding Tuesday night. Many people want to have their weekend planned before it arrives.

I would like a week in advance, I'm a busy lady with a busy schedule so I barely have free time. A week in advance will help schedule the date so I can have time for it and not worry about other things like work.
I don't do laundry often so I have to make sure my good underwear is clean and move work or other plans around if I have to. Also, it gives me time to get into the right mindset.
It depends on the date. If it's a attend a big concert it would be longer than dinner at Applebee's.
I go with the flow so I mean if we're both free when he asks me I'll just be like "Well let's go eat!"
A week or two, depending on the pay cycle of whatever job I have. I usually like to have a full pay period to plan the date.
A few days is good to give both enough time to plan things out.
I chose the last option. I need time to plan my week.
Two days before would be good. Lots of times I did it a week in advance.
Generally it's however many days to the weekend, or if I already have plans, finding a time to squeeze them in :)
I hate getting plans sprung on me same day. I can't plan for that. I need at least a day but I prefer 2 or 3
A week or so out is usually reasonable, people have schedules.
Life is meant to be lived. If the guy I’m crushing on was to text me right now to go out for coffee, dinner, a hike, anything really... I’m going to say yes let’s go! I don’t want to waste anytime that could be spent enjoying each other’s company rather than doing nothing meaningful beyond your normal routine.
any time is good for me if i'm free
I'd say about a week before
0-6 days.
About a month.
And yes, I did read your update.
