Was working at a gas station and was outside talking to a friend. I noticed this gorgeous girl across the street. She looked at me and I looked at her and there was this instant spark for me, unknown to me she already had it for me (another story as to why). I asked my friend if he knew this girl and he said yes. Then I asked if she was seeing anyone and he said not really. Then I asked him to go and ask her if she wanted to go to the movies with me. Lucky she lived very close (lived in a very small town). She said yes. We have been together ever since that instant spark of love.

My husband and I met in December 2007. We were on Christmas vacation in Costa Rica. We were in middle school.

To us, we thought it was coincidence that we happened to be in the same spot and were around the same age and both spoke English and were from the same hometown.
