So I genuinely like this guy. We connect on so many things and there is chemistry. He understands me in ways no one has been able to in two years. We just went on a date recently and he kissed me. I felt all the nerves and flutters before he did. But then it kinda faded when he kissed me.. the way he kissed me was weird and it can easily be because we just naturally do different things for kissing. But it was like he was kissing just my upper lip. It’s like how Mary Jane kissed Spider-Man upside down, but this was right side up. I don’t know how to fully describe this lol but it wasn’t a kiss i expected from someone my age (just recently turned 21 and he’s almost 21 as well). It doesn’t change how i feel about him, but kissing him is a bit important and i don’t want to hurt his feelings by outright saying he sucks at kissing and it’s a turn-off.. please help?

Lol Totally getchu, recently I experienced the same thing lol. What I did was I just naturally teach him how to kiss better by literally doing it during the make-out w/o having the awk conversation However, I think because it also made me felt off... I actually lost interest. Personally, sometimes, the physical connection can change my mind if it somehow didn't feel right. You can try doing that or have an open conversation on what type of kisses you like and wanna try with him.

So just say him... "I want to enjoy kissing" "but you need to learn it" . And then teach him..
Men are simple and if you tell him... "I am going to tell you something that might be emotionally hurtful so try not to get hurt " Before saying everything... He will not get hurt
You won't hurt his feelings. Don't worry. Just tell him you want to experiment with different types of kisses. Then walk him through them one by one. He probably won't even know he's being trained. He'll probably think it's incredibly hot and he'll be really turned on. Then at the end just tell him which ones were your favorite.
It's normal for it to be like this since it's their first kiss. You don't even need to think. You will have more beautiful and passionate kisses over time.
