You're a horrible human being for lying to someone and manipulating them, making them think they were dating an actual man. This is just ONE reason why the general public doesn't like transgenders and aren't very accepting of them, unlike the general gay community. If a biological man did this to a woman, lied and manipulated her with something that could gross her out, many women would be calling it outright "rape."
I am a fairly tolerant person, but shit like this man... I'm gonna be honest. If I was led on manipulated by someone who may have looked female, but had a giant cock in the end, I'd have a hard time not beating shit out of him, right then and there. And they'd deserve it, too. I wouldn't say I WOULD; just that I'd want to hurt them really badly if that ever happened to me. And again, it'd be justified. A man dressed up as a woman would have just conned and gaslit a straight man into having a gay encounter; something that could shame him for the rest of his life.
I'm not going to be melodramatic and go so far as to call it "rape," but you are psychologically damaging a person, and at the very least, it is definitely sexual assault. Fortunately, like 95% of transwomen don't pass whatsoever and look completely like dudes. Transmen, however, not so much, since it's very easy to pass as a guy, if they put in actual effort into it.
While women tend to be more gay/gay-ish than men, this woman could very well be heterosexual (not any of this "bi-curious" or part-time gay bullshit, but actually legitimately straight) and you just tricked and conned her into a gay encounter that she did not ask for. You knpw; the word all the left-people love to use; "CONSENT!" She didn't CONSENT to having a gay encounter with another woman. Or, a man, if she happened to be a lesbian. I'm sure lesbians don't want to be conned into a heterosexual encounter either (at least the honest lesbians, as opposed to the lesbians who use the stupid fucking term "bisexual").
All in all, your own selfishness has just led you into tricking a woman into an experience she did not want and did not consent to. And if someone beat you into a bloody pulp for it, YOU'D be the one playing "the victim." Saying shit like "sexual assault is okay when transpeople do it! Rape is okay, because transpeople are, like, oppressed or some shit, I dunno?"
Doing deceptive, ethically awful shit like this, among other things, is exactly why trans acceptance is going backwards in society and more and more people are hating all of you. This isn't even getting into the whole letting men compete against girls in sports stuff, or letting perverts enter female restrooms by just declaring "I'm trans". I don't hate transpeople, and I don't care what most people do in their lives. But stuff like this DOES make me think more transpeople are complete pieces of shit, than thinking of tolerance and acceptance.
Now go ahead and call me a "transphobe" and play up being the victim, you fucking rapist.413 Reply
Asker+1 yHow am I a rapist? We didn’t have sex.

I went on a date with a guy. It was very strange for me because I didn't think I was gay.
He told me he was trans and had a vagina. I wasn't mad. We ended up dating for a while.
I ended up avoiding him because he had the personality of a wet noodle and I just couldn't take him seriously, but that really didn't have anything to do with gender or body parts. - +1 y
If body parts really matter so much to you that you would go from romance to assault over finding they had different anatomy than you thought...
You have to realize you aren't actually that open minded and you aren't actually basing your interest off personally or philosophy and it's really just about sex.
Not that I'm saying that is wrong... But just that if it was really about who a person is, you wouldn't go from love to violence for no reason other than what's in their pants. - +1 y
@Lost_in_the_Woods
Uh no. I reject that BS. The whole finding out you were manipulated, humiliated, and gaslit, would be the bigger factor there, not their actual body parts. That aspect only applies to the humiliation part, especially if there was physical contact, like the user is saying. I make zero apologies for that shit. - +1 y
Who said they manipulated, humiliated or gaslit anyone?
If you didn't ask, and they didn't lie, you must have just made your own false assumptions.
Imagine if we met at a bar, decided to be (non romantic) friends and I assumed you had a golf membership and a Ferrari because you were wearing a Ferrari branded polo, then a week later after hanging out at some bars and bowling allys you mentioned that you drove a Honda and I just started throwing punches.
You would probably think I was a fucking psycopath.
If you don't believe in trans people, that is one thing, and I honestly have my own opinions on that one but I'm not going to go there. But if you accept that some people change their gender you can't really call them dishonest for putting male in their dating profile.
Especially if they are post op.
It's not dishonest. You just assumed you knew more than you did. It's only dishonest if they tell you something that isn't true.
If you physically touched a penis and you are embarrased by that,
1. You must have known they had a penis.
And 2. It's okay. I tried it, decided I didn't like it and moved on with my life. I'm not ashamed.
I really don't think it's okay to make false assumptions about another person and then assault them because you were wrong. I definitely think that is psycotic. (But, I doubt you would actually do that)
I'm also not sure where gaslighting comes into this. That doesn't apply to any time someone misleads you, even if it is wrong and/or intentional.
Revealing the truth about a past event would be the opposite of gaslighting. - +1 y
Imagine if I moved to the UK, lived there for years, and my accent changed.
I met a girl. We fell in love. And then some months later I mentioned that I was born in the USA and she just flipped out and hit me with a shovel.
That would be a bit unreasonable.
If I had told her I was born in the UK, I would understand your point about being manipulative... But if she just assumed that... It's kind of a different situation. - +1 y
I actually had the experience of finding out my date was trans. I wasn't mad. Honestly it didn't change much. He still made me put it in his butt because we didn't have condoms. (Which wasn't for me)
But other than the sex it truly made no difference. The only part that bothered me was that he insisted on having sex with his clothes on which was honestly a huge turn off for me. - +1 y
I think, you would be angry because that is one of the most common reactions people have to finding out their assumptions were wrong and not knowing what to do about it.
Most guys have been there. Most girls have too. But that doesn't make it right to take it out on the other person.
The way i see it, the only reason to blame them is if you think being trans in inherently wrong and or dishonest.
I would understand that. If I was dating someone and three months in I found out they were a KKK member I would be pretty pissed off. But if I found out they drove a Prius and they were keeping it, I'd politely tell them that was a deal breaker for me and be kicking myself for not asking. - +1 y
@Lost_in_the_Woods
I said what I said. Playing the semantics of "well they didn't tell you" is utter bullshit. That's like saying "you didn't SAY you didn't want to be raped." I'm not going to excuse sexual assault by tricking people with omissions of truth and claiming it's okay because you didn't come clean with them. And although I see the lawyer style argument you're trying to make, I find it to be silly, at best. If the assumption of the trans person was "they'd be okay with it," then they would've told them on the first night they met before physical contact, or sex, even happened. This "deception is okay if it's not an outright lie" argument is stupid. And like I said, it is sexual assault. Not every guy is as cavalier as to taking a dick like you like you seem to be. That's a very traumatic and shameful experience for a guy who would actually be straight.
And I said in my argument I'd be furious and would have to calm myself down, however, if someone else took a swing at the lying trans in question, I wouldn't feel sorry for them. Don't treat the liar like they're children; they knew what they were doing. It was deception and lies by omission of truth. I could make that same dumb argument for anything. "Well, you didn't SAY you didn't want me to shoot and rob you! It's your fault for assuming I was a safe law-abiding citizen." And comparing conning someone into sex or intimacy to fashion, an accent, or what car they drive is a pretty dumb argument. Nobody is going to commit suicide after finding out someone wasn't the job or nationality they thought they were.
- +1 y
@Lost_in_the_Woods I said what I said, and there's nothing to really argue here, since it's based on emotion and ethics. You're fine letting someone sexually assault you and wouldn't be traumatized or ashamed of that, then fine. A lot of people aren't going to be, and trying to argue that deception by omission of truth is "acceptable" is never going to work. You're basically arguing "she/he was asking for it." That's the same kind of argument you're making here.
I don't want to keep talking about this or how ethical it is to manipulate people into gay experiences, or sexual assault. (Although maybe the rape comment at the end of the first comment was a bit too far.) - +1 y
I don't think you know what sexual assault means.
- +1 y
@Lost_in_the_Woods
Let's just agree to disagree peacefully and leave it at that, because I already said I'm done with this conversation. - +1 y
If you made your own assumptions and nobody forced you to perticipate, nobody manipulate you or assaulted you.
If someone lies, or sexually assaults you, you have every right to be angry.
But that just doesn't apply to the question.

+1 yYou don't want to reveal a mental disorder until after the first date. And get some real counseling. Being 'trans' is hip right now, but the damage from the drugs and alterations are PERMANENT. The alterations to your voice and hip bone growth and mini-breasts never go away. As well as the changes estrogen will make to your brain are also irreparable. And since there is no evidence that physical transition relieves symptoms of not feeling comfortable in your own skin, it's a hell of a price to pay for falling into a fad. And as you get older, no matter what you do, all your friends and enablers will go their separate ways and you will be alone, dealing with your now deformed figure and brain, with noone around to support or help you. Oh, they say they will always be there. They always say that, but circumstances change for people and life goes on and most of the time, your not on their journey. You need to be thinking for yourself, bub. Be the master of your own mind and learn the wisdom the keep yourself from falling into other peoples traps. No teenager feels comfortable in their own skin. Most young people feel there must be something wrong with them that is only unique to them and nobody could ever possibly understand how they feel. Going through even a partial physical transition will leave this permanent damage and you are most likely going to feel worse not better. Try to imagine 5 years from now; do you think you will feel the same? Chances are near 100% that you will not. And you will be damn glad you did not physically permanently alter yourself. This modern super-aggressive trans movement is already starting to have an untold number of casualties. People who were duped by sweet talking activists who encourage you to do what they themselves either have already done or will actually never do. Don't be a statistic. Man up, grab you package and be grateful for all of it. Then snap out of your delusion and get help from a reputable counselor. The answer to your awkwardness and discomfort does not lie in being a tranny. The one thing transexuals have in common is the vast majority of them are miserable. And no it's not because of society, because if they don't tell anybody, nobody would know. Society will just think you're a really ugly woman or a really weak man. Snap out of it before you do something stupid! You think you're awkward now? Start transitioning and you won't just feel awkward, you will be awkward and nobody will care.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yWell, let me tell you a little tale about myself.
(if you just wanna get straight to the point just go down to the section cutoff, it should look like equal signs)
When I was dating somebody, I didn't know he was trans. I thought he was a she, and I didn't know this for a good few months.
It was accidentally slipped by one of his friends, and I asked him about it and it sorta just came out.
It took me a couple months to figure out what my thoughts were on it. I was a little angry and disappointed that they didn't tell me something that was integral to their character, but also a bit sad from them feeling like they couldn't trust me knowing their true self. I had a lot of back and forth with myself in my head just trying to figure this all out.
He and I decided to continue to date, and it was honestly the best relationship I've had. We've broken up ever since, but he's still my best friend.
====================
To get straight to the point, I feel like it's best to be open and honest about who you were. It will probably harm the relationship if kept a secret. If they can't see past you being trans for who you truly are, that's their problem, not yours. It's best to find somebody who loves you for you.
You are valid and deserve somebody who validates you too :)00 Reply- 1.1K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yAnd you didn't tell her? WTF? Seriously, what the complete fuck? So you start out a relationship with a lie. But not just a tiny lie, a big giant huge fuck of a lie. There are plenty of people who wouldn't care, but I bet the majority of people would. First off, if I was someone that didn't care, I would immediately end it since you lied about who you were right out of the gate. This is something that should have been said right after your name, in a dating situation. Second, I would never want to date a trans person. If that is your thing, more power to you. But it isn't something I could stomach in a SO.
I am just beyond baffled and amazed you could keep something that big from someone and still think it is ok.00 Reply - 681 opinions shared on Dating topic.

If I'm honest, the problem is probably less that you were born a man and more than you're dating women. If you were dating men then you could use fear and intimidation as excuses for why you waited so long, but since you're dating women and waiting this long you must be manipulative and evil.

A better question is, why are you SELFISHLY avoiding telling her? You're likely eager to share with her all your best qualities, which reflect well in her mind, and serve your purpose of making YOURSELF desirable... why are you avoiding honesty when it doesn't serve YOUR interests? This is disrespectful to her, and weak on your part.

The one trans man I know confided in me that he usually waits a couple dates to see if he feels comfortable with them but before getting intimate at all.
my sense is trans men can generally wait longer than trans women, as there's less risk of a -really- bad reaction.00 Reply
+1 yI'm also trans and I really don't think you should have waited past the first date to say something. What if that's a deal breaker? Wouldn't you wanna know before you start having feelings for her or vice versa? Personally I just put it in my dating bio.
02 Reply- +1 y
Yeah, I tell all the girls I date that I have a 2 inch penis, put it on my dating profile too, don't want it to be a deal breaker. Heck, to make it easier, I just dont wear underwear or pants on dates, that way everyone can see my genitals and therefore I am not being manipulative.
^^^^^^ the same logic. Tbh why should anyone have to tell you about their genitals on a first date? There are a million things that can be deal breakers and we don't mention half of them until we're married. - +1 y
@devilman666 Because if I DON'T tell people right away I get accused of lying, being manipulative, being a "trap", and I put myself in danger of physical retaliation when they find out later.
I would love to not disclose the fact that I was born female on a first date. I would love to never have that conversation again. I would love to live in a world where there truly didn't matter to people. But it does and I understand that. Just look at all the comments on this post alone telling this guy he should have disclosed right away. Is that fair? No, but it's part of the trans experience.
I don't want to waste my time or my date's if me being trans is a deal breaker, so I'm open about it immediately

Lmao great that you did! Don’t be afraid to let people know you’re trans. Some people are gay and still don’t know it 😂😂

Asker+1 yI told her today she’s actually okay with it
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yAs a fellow trans person, I'd say to state that first above anything else. Be it either on an app self description or in text to her. Mostly to avoid transphobia, confusion and hurt feelings

Meh.

Because you were born a man so they're allowed to shame you. If you were ftm then they'd understand because "you were scared for your safety". Since you were born a man, you don't get sympathy or empathy, even after transitioning into a woman.
Asker+1 yI am a FTM 😂

It's not manipulative then, what if the woman you're dating attacked you? You have to be careful with who you tell, some people can get violent just because of the fact that in their mind they are/were attracted to what they view as a man. It might be a little manipulative but it's necessary to protect yourself, women manipulate men with sex and fake tears all the time and apparently that's okay, so clearly manipulation isn't always wrong.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySo you have a vagina?
You should have told her before the first date. Being deceptive to get someone to like you is wrong.02 Reply
Asker+1 yWell not anymore
Opinion Owner+1 yWhy would any human with a vagina give that up for a dick?
