I stopped attempting to date men when hook up culture became the normal?

Many men don’t court women , marry them , or respect them.. it’s about sex. So I removed myself from the dating world a decade ago. I figure if the right man is out there he’ll find me. I don’t do online dating apps. Hook up culture is the norm and most men don’t want approach women respectfully or properly. The expectation of anything is not there and I’m not saying traditional men don’t exist the belief and ideal is rare.

It’s 50/50 .. it’s men/ women and men expecting sex after dates. It’s Netflix and chill.. it’s nothing meaningful. It’s no courting for the intention of marriage.. no thanks for the last decade I’ve done my own thing.

Here’s a secret men : Good women removed themselves from the dating pool years ago and we became hidden because we were tired of not being noticed. We didn’t want to compete against trashy women who’s re in your wallets , chasing you , and your chasing them. I intentionally hid myself and recently put myself out there just took peek lol and went back in hiding. Please don’t advise me to get on another dating app. What you men are dealing with is trashy women, thots, and women not suitable

I've been told by women that I'm too sensitive a person for a friends with benefits relationship.
I actually take that as a compliment, I don't want to be that dead inside to where sex is all I care about.
I get attached to women so I don't really date anymore either.
It's difficult to really connect when I'm texting with women who are texting with multiple other guys.
The dating world these days is just people jumping around from one person to the next.

The answer is because there are no more traditional women, or at least very few.

Women have told us for decades that men who have traditional expectations are sexist and gender roles are bad. But there are still women who want to retain specific gender roles, but only the ones that benefit women.

Men have just grown tired of the hypocrisy and double standards when it comes to gender roles. You can't have it both ways, and that is the answer to your question.
