Do you think these are early red flags?

So I’ve met this guy through online dating and we’ve been chatting quite a bit. I’ve told him I’ve recently been through a bad experience with someone else and said I just want to focus on work and finding my feet with everything for the next few weeks and then we can go out. He’s been sending me voice message and I’ve responded to him with my own voice messages and then he sent one back saying ‘your voice is so sexy, I might fall in love with you on our first meeting’

Another thing I’ve noticed is that even though I said i needed some time to myself before meeting up, is that he is pressurising me to meet up earlier, like this weekend, and then adds on the end ‘but if you need more time then I understand’. He is also calling me ‘babe’ and sent me a message the other day saying ‘you are so sweet’ with a kiss emoji, and I find it all too familiar.

Do you think these are early red flags?

I feel you girly, I am currently active on dating apps and just had this experience over the past few days, had to tell him last night it won’t work but I wish him the best lol. I definitely feel like the pushy-ness from your guy is a red flag. It seems like he’s trying to rush into something, whether it’s sex or whatever. Honestly what I’d recommend on your search is to do what feels completely organic for you. Any bad feelings, cut them off now. You may feel a twinge of guilt but you don’t know him, or owe him anything. It’s been a few days maybe, his pride may feel a stab but he will get over it honey.

I don't know about red flags but that would be too pushy and strong too early for me. I don’t like guys who come on to me that quickly because I feel like they do it often and I’m not real special to them. Or like how do you act that way that early on? I can’t. Given you haven’t even met I’d say it may be a red flag he moves fast.. it would turn me off

To many red flags to pursue. You are not ready for a deep relationship, who knows if he is of not, but he is presenting it that way.

Stick with your plan, focus on work and letting your wounds heal before you jump in to a new relationship. The last situation you need is to be pressured into a fresh relationship when you are not ready for it.

Cut ties now. He will find another on-line interest. When you feel healthy by all means jump in and enjoy dating again.

It sounds creepy. You don't even know this guy yet. Any guy that says he is going to be in love with you after 5 minutes has something wrong with him. Sounds like a possible stalker. Yes its too familiar, too much too fast, its does not sound good.

I would tell him you decided that need to extend your break from dating and you will get back to him maybe later, then just don't ever reach out to him again.

it’s strange dont fall for it. I had a girl love bomb me like this buying me gifts saying she liked me posting about me etc before we even met in person and then I fell for it and she rejected me saying she didn’t have feelings for me. Might be a narcissist

Even mentioning falling love with you on your first meeting is not normal conversation pre-dating, nor as already calling you Babe.

Red flags? he seems pushy... or desperate. Pushy can be dealt with by sticking to your own dating schedule- which you explained to him. Desperate is a far more serous issue.

He’s overly flirting but you’re not comfortable. So it may be red flags to you. Though the red flag I would say is pressuring to meet up earlier when you already explained why you couldn’t.
