Went on a first date it was going really well good conversation with things in common. Few hours in i went to get a drink and he said he had to leave he had arranged to meet his mates for a drink. So we left give me a hug and a kiss said he had a nice time. He text me to make sure i got a taxi okay but havnt heard from him since. Just not sure if he was interested in me? Is it normal for a guy to leave a date to meet his mates?

That's a red flag there. Who leaves a date with someone you like to go meet your buddies for a drink? That's not a good sign. Why didn't he go out with them after your date? Or ask if you wanted to join them?

Sounds like he wanted an excuse to get out early. Now I could be very wrong, but the fact is, he hasn't spoken to you since the date- again, a red flag.

I'm sorry things didn't turn out better, but I'd say he's not interested.

I won't leave a date to meet with mates. It is suspicious.

If he's interested you will know about him in a maximum of three days after texting him, most likely two.

Otherwise he's just not interested, or less likely playing games.

Yeh thought so tbh it was bank holiday he said he was suppost to meet them few hrs prior he did say dont think im a dick but it was abit of a dick move
