Dating young easy. Dating older hard. The older you get, the harder it is. As people age, they learn more of what they really want. Many are carrying baggage and a lot of standards.

Also as guys get older, the more they seek youth. That makes the 20-old-dating pool of women very competitive. So much so, that nearly 40% of men under 30 are still virgins in the U. S. These guys are chasing around what is left, so the market is kind of a wasteland.

More guys are waiting until the 30's for a lot of single mothers. And this is where the tide shifts because many of these women are keeping a guy, but also keeping her options open looking for bigger and better, and this is where men turn into providers. This is where divorce really takes off, and the carnage really begins.

That said, there some really good people out there in the swamp of modern dating. They are definitely not going to be on Tinder or any online dating app.

Beat thing to do is go do what you really like and meet girls through that endeavor. If you're successful, not necessarily in money, you will stand out like a beacon in the night sky.

Depending where you are in life will shape your perspective. If you have it going on, you will find dating easier, relative to all factors that I just listed. That said, focus on you. Not the girl.

Because women sure these days and expect premade men out the gate but then premade men don’t need these women because their self made and don’t rely on anyone. For men these women are a means to an end and for women these men are just a payday. And if you wanna argue with me ladies… let’s say you divorced after 10 years of marriage and it was messy… you going to demand 50%? And men… you really gonna say your not thinking how hot she is when you pick her up waiting to take her home?

That's really a great question! I think the instincts men and women developed over thousands of years of culture and evolution are still strong in our psyches, so we all still want men to be men and women, women. But this perverse feminist culture is slowly eroding all the old rules, so no one knows where to stand. E. g., I've been cussed at for holding a woman's door, and for not doing so. I've read here on GaG many times where women lament that men don't take initiative or ask them out. Thank you #metoo. We just need to go back to the WW2 rules that kept our grandparents married for 50+ years.

What i have seen is people are too selfish now days. They don't solve their problems and create a wall over their problems and freak out when it's time to face the real problem because it take a massive mental effort they don't want to do. Plus! lack of communication

Too many girls want to taste test and not enough women realize men aren't chasing after every girl. As a result women end up sharing the same small pool of guys while all the other guys are like I"ll just wait for the actual lady shows up worthy of my presence. Because a lot of people aren’t genuine about what they want and societal standards are deemed normal compared to your own standard. So, it becomes hard trying to find someone who matches what you’re looking for.

I agree with a lot of comments here. Expectations for a partner each person has can be specific. A person could say just one sentence to make the other not interested anymore. For example "I want to be the laziest fattest man in the world 🌎". Hmmm she isn't texting me anymore 🤔
