Noone ever says ALL women are EXACTLY the same. Women are women. There are behaviors that a lot of women exhibit. Just as there are with men.

Women tend to be emotional and demanding overall in my experience. But I have met women that aren't this way at all, but maybe exhibit other typical "female" behaviors. But no 2 women are really the same.

Especially physically. This comes to the next part of my answer. Guys like variety. One week they like redheads, the next they want a big butt, the next they like short girls, etc and so on.

A guy who can date multiple women, especially when he is younger, will do it. He hasn't found "his type" yet, and is searching for the woman that makes him realize, he does want to settle down.

When I was younger I just wanted to sleep with as many women as I could, now that I am older. I am a bit pickier about that. Because I have learned my lesson. It's also exhausting to date multiple woman at once, and harder to settle on one.

Honestly when men are young they are just trying to get laid, by multiple women.
As a more mature man it's to be with someone. Women have tons of guys they are talking to until they settle on one guy. I am talking to this lady I like her, I was friends with her dad. I spent time with the family we never dated, now she's single. It's up to her if she wants to get together she likes me but don't know. In the meantime I have females friends she knows about. She's not concerned about other women. When the time comes, if she's ready to move forward, then we will get into the next level and bounderies will be placed. Until then technically I have other women I am around. What I like most about her is I am still able to have my female friends. I have cultivated these friendships for a few years. The key is there will be bounderies if this lady and I were in a relationship. Anyways hope whatever made you make this question, you find peace.

Maybe it's cause they focus on a type and that type always breaks his heart or leaves him or cheats. So they say they are all the same. Like you can be different individuals but end up doing the same shit the other girl did to him. Obviously, they are not the same in looks-wise, that's the thing about men, they like variety and don't discriminate doesn't matter how short or tall, thick or slim they would take a chance if they can compare to women whose standards are much higher then men. In the end, most women want the same thing, money, protection, a guy that's 6ft.
