You know why. The dating market on hook-up sites is not favorable for men in their 20s unless they are among the highest levels of attractiveness. This is why it makes more sense to focus on gaining marketable skills and getting/staying fit at your age. You have lots of time.

I am pretty old so most of this was not around when I was dating. However, "computer dating " was a thing. I had a friend who joined and filled out a questionnaire and paid the fee. He got a few dates, none of them ever went anywhere.

Keep trying. I've been using Tinder and other dating apps on and off since 2015 and have been on countless dates, many of which turned into either a hook up or, dating for a while, or (in two cases) actual relationships. So if it doesn't work for you, it's definitely not the app's fault.
