If you date/marry a psychiatrist, would you get free treatment and meds?

Treating your spouse is an ethical violation. Both the actual therapy and the meds violate the APA code of ethics and could cost them their license, if it were discovered. It's also not likely to be effective, as your relationship would make it near impossible for them to remain unbiased.
i fell in love with my therapist years ago. she was the second woman i ever loved. needless to say we both moved on and she married someone else. i would of had to wait 2 years until after i was discharged as her patient before i could actually date her which never happened.
just for the record a psychiatrist does give out free samples to patients that the drug pushing pharmaceutical representatives brings over to them. and those drugs have numerous side effects making a person big and fat especially fat
no i had my medical coverage pay for it
years ago yes
struggled taking the weight off

You don't buy meds from a psychiatrist. You buy them from a pharmacist so, generally, they are not free but the psychiatrist can prescribe them for free.
Go with professional help rather. Or marry them for financial security and let them know not for their profession. Their profession must be legal ethical though 🙂
Thanks for like!
