Emotionally, is suprised i cut her out of my life. She always praises her other emotionally unstable kids and hurts me. She suffers from menntall illnes. Am i stupid for cuttibg her out? She used to beat me

5 years ago i had to make what i thought at the time was the toughest decision of my life. I had a circle of friends since grade school. There were 10-12 guys, i considered them all best friends. Well it started to wear on me cuz i seemed to be the one they called when they needed something whether it be money, help moving, or just an ear to listen to all their problems. So i came to a decision to step away from the group and lo and behold only 2 of them reached out, stopped over, showed concern for me. So i cut 10 of them out of my life including my 2 brothers. Now? haven't been this happy and at peace with myself in a long time. Good luck!! Its very hard at first but cutting out the toxicity in ur life is good medicine.

No if u feel it was for the best
