I have a crush on my new coworker but he lives 2 hours away (we work remotely) is this a hopeless crush or is there a way?

I work remotely for a company as a programmer and I’ve been here for a couple years. We got a new guy about a month ago and he also works remotely. I’ve been having weekly meetings with him the last few weeks and we’ve just clicked. He’s so easy to talk to and I do sense some flirting. I added him on LinkedIn so he could see my photo since I saw his already. Since then he’s been more friendly to me. He messages me on our Microsoft teams like each day when we don’t have meetings. Just random messages not related to work. Even during our training our conversations turn a half hour training to 1.5 hours. He really makes me laugh. He did mention with our other male coworker who he had a training meeting with they got off topic and were talking about some food more than training. So I’m not sure if it’s just his personality or if he’s into me.. all he’s mentioned is he lives with his dog. I can’t find out other info on him. He lives 2 hours away though... is this a stupid crush that can’t go anywhere or can this turn to something?
