Should I tell my long distance crush that I have a crush on him?

I've known him for years but we rarely talk. I started having a strong crush on him recently. Unfortunately there's a very small chance that we will meet in the near future and I don't know if I should tell him about my feelings or not?

My advise is always to go direct. But you should start with preframing it. I don't just go up to a girl in the middle of the street and say you're hot, I say something like, "I know this very random, but... I think you're gorgeous"

Similarly, you can begin by saying, "I know this is random and out of the blue, but..." Then talk about your history and lead up to why you like him. Acknowledge that there's a distance issue and that you don't expect him to return the feelings, but it's just something you needed to tell him. It's up to you if you want to start with small talk first or just want to write him a long message. Hope this helps

Well what would you like to tell him? You don't have to put it here... put it in a note on your phone, voice recording maybe. I'd put it all somewhere, everything you want to tell him and then try to organize it so you don't confuse him. Tell him everything, why you like/love him and if you want a relationship mention it but don't stay too much on it, someone confessing feelings is a lot to take in and the person being confessed to sometimes feel pressured even if they feel the same way
