Should I tell my long-distance (lives 7 states away) crush I've known all my life that I like him? He thinks of me as a sister I think and I hadn't seen him in 6 years. Then I hung out with him for a day at his parents house in my state. Then my best friend mom and brother and I went to his actual house in his state for a week. Its was amazing. Had fun times with him and his family. and he was helpful and sweet when I needed his help. (My parents and his are BFFS sense college. His parents have 5 kids. 19-12. He's 15 I'm 14) He flirted with me AND my best friend. And now its a love triangle lol. But she doesn't like him. I like him. And I've liked him for 6 months now. We follow each other on Instagram. I was the one who reached out. We don't text much. But I want to know, should I risk the friendship that's renewing itself, take the risk and tell him, or wait?

Well I told him and he didn't understand lol. So then I said I "like-like" him and he said "oh. Well. Uh. I don't know what to say" and then he said he didn't like anyone, but didn't feel that way for me. So then I asked if we could just stay friends, and he said yes, but we haven't texted sense then lol. So yeah

if you have really deep feelings:
DO IT LIFE IS TOO FUCKING SHORT TO WORRY ABOUT REJECTION!
but if you think it might make things awkward or ruin a relationship between you two then don’t tell him but hint that you might be interested to see if he might catch on and reciprocate that interest.

Well I don't want to lose him. And it'll make it really awkward when we see each other bc our parents are best friends and our siblings would make it worse. But I do want to tell him. That's a good question. I'm not sure. Im gonna move to a new city in my state and go to a new school. I'm not sure if I want to add him to that. But I don't what him to find someone else without knowing what I think.

Yes, its better to just say it then keep a bunch of anxiety In your head and worry and stress about "what if..." all the time. I'd rather get rejected right away than wait 6 months to ask out and then get my feelings hurt. If it's right away I just get over fast and move on. 6 months and then say and then get rejected I'd feel worse because I wasted a lot of time procrastinating and worrying about it everyday for 6 months only to feel even worse. I just say how I feel and even if the girl rejects me they usually regret it or they still want to keep in contact with me because they see that I speak from my heart and I don't lie or be deceptive. They can tell i am real friend and I speak in a way that's emblematic of who I am as a person and not a fake friend who beats around the bush. Always say how you feel and you'll start to impress yourself when you see how many people like being around because of your genuine nature because you tell the truth and they will feel like they talk to you openly without filter.
