So, to make it really simple
- I work for a local school district and she started in August
- I didn't really notice, or find her attractive until relatively recently
- I haven't really had a real conversation with her. Our schedules make that slightly difficult throughout the day.
- I haven't been with a woman in about 8 or 9 years, so I am also just really overdue?
So, what should I do about this little mini crush? Is it worth pursuing someone in the work place, or is that something to avoid. I tend to hear contradictory opinions on that issue.
Also, it should be mentioned that I am a relatively reserved and quiet person. It usually takes a while for me to become comfortable around new people, and I am not overly charismatic at first (that usually comes after). Soooo, I am not the type that can easily sweep a woman off her feet in the first minutes of conversation.
So advice? avoid it? talk with her?
- If you think I should avoid pursuing her.. Why?
- If you think its perfectly find to approach her and get to know her, how should I go about doing that?

Why can't you call her up and speak? Maybe meet afterwards.
Well, it is a teaching environment, so throughout most of the day it would be difficult to find time to talk. Perhaps early in the morning if she isn't busy, or at the very end of the day. There are also times when we might pass each other, but we would be going straight to our assignments, and likely couldn't say much more than "Hey! everything alright"
