I think 5’6 or under is short for a man

The height I consider consider short ("not tall", for some of you) for a man is 5'11"/181 cm, or less. At such a feminine height, I cannot consider any adult male to be tall, in any conceivable way. That is also my height and I intensely despise it. You're short, but "not short enough to complain about it" (according to others; I still complain).

SHORT ANSWER: FIVE-FOOT-ELEVEN AND LESS IS SHORT FOR A MAN, IN MY OPINION.

For other lesser heights that are also not tall, I consider them as such:

- SHORT MAN: Any adult man less than six feet/183 cm tall.

- SHORT WOMAN: Any adult woman less than 5′7″/170 cm tall.

- REALLY SHORT MAN: Any adult man 5′6″/167 cm or less.

- REALLY SHORT WOMAN: Any adult woman 5′2″/157 cm or less.

- DWARF Any adult person less than 4′11″/150 cm, as defined by its legal definition. A dwarf would be around the 4′6″-4′11" range.

- LITTLE PERSON (Midget): Any adult person under 4′6″/137 cm. A Little Person wouldn't exceed this height, which would separate them from “extremely short" into Little Person status.

And no, nobody GIVES A FUCK what the "median" height is. "Average" is worthless and meaningless. Who TF wants to be insignificant and worthless in society? People who try to claim "average" as some kind of positive are people worth ignoring; they clearly have no standards.

And although the true genetically optimal height all adult human males are supposed to be is 184 cm (6'0.5"), what people consider "tall" and "short" is 100% subjective. Like how the "average American" can have a high BMI and still be considered "fat" even while being "average."

In other words, "average" is not optimal or satisfactory. In fact, in most cases, it's the total opposite. "Average" is fucking Shit-Tier. It's called mediocrity for a reason. Don't be a loser. Don't settle for "average" and call it "good enough." Have some goddamn standards for yourselves.

Around here, I'm "average' at six two.

When I lived in Colorado and Florida I was considered "tall' which is weird. Women actually payed attention to me and I'm not completely invisible to them. It's always a strange experience when I travel. I feel like gulliver.

5’9 or under. Depends on the girl’s height as well.
But it’s mostly about the confidence I feel.
I use to date this guy who was 5’9 or 10ish.
I am 5’6 and slender and an inch or two obviously adds to my height
Height wasn’t an issue for me, but over the years I started to realise, how he barely walks next to me, it’s either ahead or behind me. Not only that, he would call me a shorty or I am so much shorter and stuff like that. Then he lost few pounds which made him look 3-4 years younger than he is then he started to call me giant or an oldie then I called it off and now he’s dating someone super short and 4-5 years younger than him. 🤧

5'10" is global male height average, so technically speaking, anything under that could be defined as short. Yes, standing next to a 5'6" does feel short.

Actually, anything under about 5-8 poses problems for those guys. I think the average height for women in america is about 5-6 or 5-7, so they're fine, but any taller women are looking at taller guys.

Im tall so any man my height or shorter is short to me. I prefer looking up to a man. I feel like he's my dad. If he's my heght i feel like we are equal and i dont want to be equal to a man at all.
