Do you think I’m being too strict on my brother whos girlfriend is pregnant wanting to live with us?

My 23 year old brother and his girlfriend who just turned 21 are having a baby. She dropped out of college and he just graduated but has a bs job. The job that makes very good money within his field he doesn’t want because you have to “work very hard” They practically begged to move in with me and I said yes with boundaries since I live with my fiancé and we just bought a house so they have a year to get it together. And they’re going to be treated as adults we aren’t the babysitters while you go off and party …welcome to parenthood. My parents aren’t happy and its because they’re so irresponsible …. they just bought a puppy. Puppy has to go if you can’t afford it it has to go and I love animals but that’s not fair to the dog. His girlfriend just told us she quit her job to be a stay at home mom and a kept woman. I told my brother that’s not going to work. If you want to be a kept woman you need to sacrifice right now and work or at least finish college and move out into your own place together …. not in mine.

Okay I just wanted to make sure i wasn’t being too mean especially with the puppy …. I hate having to do this but I think it’s needed. I just need them out by the time I get married next Fall because I want them to be stable and out my way.

They don’t want to do anything ……the rule before they were moving in was they both planned on working and saving up. She doesn’t want to do that and feels she can be a stay at home girlfriend,.. and is leaving that to my brother knowing he doesn’t make enough.

My issue is within my home in my home her choosing to technically be a housewife and live like a princess. That isn’t cool. Go be a housewife in your own home then. They don’t have one right now so they should be adults and both start working. Like many others would unless we’re financially stable and can have that discussion.
