Am I wrong for this?

This guy i rejected because he works as a mail delivery guy. I have a status job as a lawyer but somewhere i feel he lacks ambition.

You’re both right and wrong.

You’re right to reject a guy if you see fit. It job status is important to you and you see that a delivery job isn’t up to your standards, then you have every right to respectfully decline a date or tell him your not interested or whatever.

That said, just because he’s a mail delivery guy does not mean he is not ambitious and it doesn’t mean he isn’t skilled. Maybe he really likes his job and is happy with his salary. Maybe he loves the people on his route. Maybe he likes the idea of having a pension. Maybe he likes having his time to himself, his own vehicle and chilling and doing his own thing.

Don’t ever assume someone lacks ambition or is below you in some way because of their day job or career.

You mentioned in another reply that he’s okay with cheating…. well, why didn’t you include that important detail in your question? Nearly everyone would not be okay with cheating.

Instead you’re judging mailmen and made yourself out to be an a-hole because you have a “status job.” I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and believe you’re actually what you say you are, but this question isn’t very articulate for someone who has studied law.

I saw that too, but for some reason my profile says I’m 20 when I’m 27 so I didn’t really take that into account. It’s the spelling and grammar that’s getting me.
