Is a 9 year age gap in dating too much?

I recently went out on a date with this guy and had a lot of fun. The only thing is I’m a 21 year old senior in college, and he’s 30. I met him at a bar and he looked really young for his age maybe like 24. However when we went out not only was it fun but he treated me so well, probably better than any other guy at my college has. Would it be bad to continue seeing each other even with the 9 year age gap?

it’s individual… I personally don’t think 9 years is too much for ME, but it could be for a lot of others. If you feel comfortable with it and you guys are mentally compatible then it shouldn’t be an issue, if not then it might be too much…

That depends. If a 30 year old wants to get with a 21 year old, that's ok.

But if that same 21 year old wants to get with a 12 year old, I have some severe issues with that.

The age gap is perfectly fine as long as you have compatible morals, compatible long term life goals, and have some things in common you enjoy doing together. That is what matters.

Age gaps are nothing. My wife is 38 years older than me. After twelve years, we are still married and in love. I’m 31 and she’s 69.

My husband and I have a 16 year age gap and have an amazing relationship. If you're compatible in terms of maturity and goals age is simply just a number!

I don't know.. my parents are 20 years apart.. I know I know THAT'S a bigg age gap, but they love each other, and they even look the same age lol

Some people might find it awkward, but I think it's fine as long as he is close to your mental age. Only problem is that you guys are at completely different places in life
