Should I text the guy?

I finally approached the guy who looks like he has a major crush on me. Initially, he looked scared when I said Hi to him and even I got terrified lol. But I tried to maintain composure and we finally got through the awkward start.

He became normal quite soon but i noticed he looked me up and down and also looked at my chest lol.

Anyway, I asked him if he has any social media and he told me he will give me his number and proceeded to type it on my phone. Though he looked like he was trying to remember his own number lol.

When I first sent him a message on Whatsapp, his last seen was turned off. So I couldn't see when he was online. He responded to my message a few hours later, acknowledging the same that it was nice to meet me and he will see me around campus in a few days. I wrote sure no problem and will see him around.

Then i noticed that he turned on his last seen. For all I know, if ones last seen is closed, they can't see another person's last seen either. So for the last 4 days, his last seen is now open. Though he comes less on Whatsapp ( he's PhD student in his 3rd year

So my question is why did he do this?
And should I wait for his message to meet up? Cos I approached him after several weeks of sexual tension, simply because he wasn't going to make a move.

He is probably busy studying. If someone else interesting comes into your life. Go for him.
